i have the unfortunate displeasure of living next to this this restaurant. they employ a staff member that has catcalled me everyday i walk by. i brought it to the attention of the manager and was ushered out by another woman who lectured me about the evils we must deal with in life.
if the evil ur wanting to deal with is overpriced, mid food served to you by a staff complicit with harassment, then hummus kitchen is your spot to be.

I was in the area for a meeting and fell upon this wonderful place. I was not familiar with the hashgacha so I asked some questions and decided upon the falafel. It was fresh and delicious. My only complaint was not enough pita but my waist was thankful. Turkish Coffee was excellent and the staff/service was top notch.

I found this restaurant looking for good Israeli food. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was very nice, and the hummus was on par for some of the best I've ever had. The falafel was not mind blowing, but everything else we had was incredible.

Belly was touching my back in hunger so decided to try this place out lol glad I did! Service was quick. Food was tasty! Started off with the Maze Nishnush appetizer and had their Shakshuka for an entree. Tasted authentic like an Israeli grandma cooked it. For dessert had their Halva sticks which reminded me of Baklava more than Halva but was still enough to tease the tape worm 😋 love that they are open during Sabbath (which is not typical of Kosher restaurants). I will be back when I am craving Israeli!

To the owners who commented on my review on their closed Dutch St. branch: Thank you for bringing that mistake to my attention, I meant to leave the review for the branch on 3rd Ave so I'm posting it again here. Also, if you don't want hate, you just need to learn to make good food. Maybe then your restaurants wouldn't be shutting down, if you actually listened to your customers instead of insulting them. My husband and in-laws are israeli and I know what good israeli food tastes like so your critical offensive stance is only hurting you and pushing customers away. Hope you learn from that soon.
