Regret choosing this place. Hostesses were rude, server was absent, they cleared us out in a hurry (we were not in a rush), steak was cold and super salty. We did have a friend, * cough, a cockroach, visit and hide under the table mid dinner so that was exciting. Overall, food was super average but the service just wreaked of "we know you, as a tourist, won't ever come back and we will get new ole like you here forever." Pick somewhere else. The pictures make this place look way cooler than it is.

Absolutely loved this place! Went for a birthday, but even on a regular day, they really know how to make the entire experience an unforgettable one and make you feel special.Food is amazing, service is elite, and the atmosphere will leave a lasting impression on you long after you've finished your dessert!

I ordered the $74 kosher ribeye and it was mediocre at best. Bland and slightly chewy. I would expect way more for this price. I am stunned that this place somehow got the reviews it did

The service was great. Food was perfectly prepared and presented. I had the Long Neck Clams appetizer, the 8 oz filet mignon, and done medium well, with horseradish cream and parmesan fries. If you are looking for a great place for a special occasion or dinner before a Broadway play, this is the place!

Great meal and service from Rosa. We got two steaks and tried the port wine and peppercorn sauces. Then for sides we got mashed potatoes and bacon Brussels sprouts. Then for dessert we got espresso martinis.

We were 3 women celebrating a birthday. I indicated that on my reservation. We were greeted warmly and our coats were taken. We were led to a table in a great location. There was a personal hand-written card to the birthday person which was lovely. The ambience of the bar and room has an air of sophistication which is very welcome in a NY restaurant. The service and food were beyond excellent. The popovers were the best we had ever had and we each had a different meal ranging from the salads to the pasta to the fish and chicken. The dessert was served with a Happy Birthday message written in chocolate. In our excitement of leaving and getting to the theater on time, we left behind a small gift bag. I checked my phone at intermission and there was a text from the restaurant through Open Table that they were holding it for us. We went back after the show and picked it up. Thank you, Open Table and Hunt and fish Club, for stellar service. We had a wonderful experience and we will be back.

Pretty standard for upscale midtown - not a particularly adventurous menu but it offers something for everyone. Our group started with a seafood tower of oysters, lobster, crap and shrimp - everything was fresh although being from the west coast I find east coast oysters rather bland and these were no exception. For my entree I chose the broccoli rabe ravioli which could have used a little more sauce and a little less cooking time as the ravioli became gluey, although that may also have been because it sat too long before making it to the table - it was lukewarm at best. The rest of the group had steak, salmon and scallops which they enjoyed. Som service was informative without being pretentious. Our service was excellent, from the hostess to the bartender to the som to our table server. The dining room is absolutely stunning with an art deco design and gorgeous lighting.

I visited this restaurant at the end of January to celebrate my birthday with a few friends. Service: They provided an amazing service from the bar to the table. The female bartender was very polite, very quick and attentive. The staff were also very pleasant when we walked in. They took our coats and placed them in coat check for us. Once seated for dinner we had server that seemed like a supervisor. He was extremely friendly, very polite and professional. He catered to our every need. Food: The food was really good... I had the New York strip...unfortunately I asked for well done and it came out medium rare. Once I sent it back it came out quickly. The mash potatoes were amazing! I was surprised with a chocolate cake which was very well decorated and delicious. Ambiance: Very beautifully decorated. Sexy and romantic... great place to celebrate a birthday dinner or have a date night. I enjoyed this restaurant... I hope to be back soon!

Celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday here and everything was absolutely amazing. The staff managers host and servers were welcoming, beautiful and made sure her night was absolutely special and one to remember. The food was exquisite the presentation was phenomenal. And the views were breathtaking. Also our service was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on food and drinks . The bartenders drinks were perfection . The managers were so very nice and engaging. We absolutely had a great time at hunt and fish.

Food and atmosphere was exceptional, the service was perfect and everyone was very accommodating due to the rain and umbrellas and coat's being checked by hostess. Would definitely recommend and plan to return.

The appetizers were the star of the show. We had 4 steaks that were overcooked , a lobster overcooked and one steak was overcooked twice. The serving was subpar and when they did “help” they were rude. Wouldn’t recommend considering we were seated 45 minutes that.
