Food was nice - went for lunch. One of three tables there - servers were super inattentive - didn’t come for drink order or water - didn’t tell us the bar was closed - I had to get up to get attention every time. Then the waiter complained he didn’t get enough tip. Cute spot but better in the area

I was able to snatch a promotion from the Pulsd app for $39 for 2 entrees with 2 drinks (valued at $88); tax and tip NOT included. Securing a reservation was easy. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, and the serving was plentiful. We ordered 2 entrees, which could be readily shared by 4 pax. The roasted chicken was savory, and the beef soup was perfect for the cold weather. The restaurant's decor is beautiful and interesting, especially if you like vintage and retro items. The location is accessible (a short walk from Herald Sq).

The food was good but the service is spreading all around and it was a mess. There is no manager I guess to control the service. Also, servers can not speak in English so there is a language barrier and when we purchased it, the waitress there do not know how to do it and got declined. Instead of explaining, she told us like "Pay next time, pay next time, u have not paid yet" we do not know what was goin on and we already paid so we refused to pay again cus she did not explain and forced to pay again. We asked what was happened and she could not explain as well cus of the language barrier and there was no one to help her out as well. We asked someone to speak and explain but the manager or the one who has responsibilities did not come as well. So, overall, if u ask, food's good? Yes. Will u go again? No

Went here after a play and we order beverages because they asked us what we would like to drink. I was waiting a long time that the food came out before the drinks and we followed up on it. They said, "we are busy and can't make drinks anymore" after waiting over 30min after they asked. I was hoping to have a nice drink from there for the vibes but oh well. Whats the point of even asking what we would like to drink if its just going to leave us in suspense and disappointment. From our experience, service was not very accommodating for a place I was looking forward to all week. Food was good except the roast chicken but the experience wasn't very pleasing.

Terrible service, drinks came 30 minutes after the food came. Our server lady was confused when we asked for a gin and tonic and had to show us the Ipad to order and physically show her what to press… When we asked for refills we waited another 30-40 minutes before altogether just cancelling the drinks and leaving. Overall terrible experience and food was very subpar..

I finished shopping at Macy’s today with my girlfriend.
I was a little tired, so my girlfriend suggested going to this restaurant for dinner.
My experience here really made me a little unhappy!
On the way home I was wondering if I should write a review.
After struggling for a while, let’s just write a few sentences.
We arrived at the restaurant around 6:30.
There were no customers in the restaurant at that time.
The empty hall was probably filled with only one-fifth of the guests.
Their waiter seated us at the outermost table near the entrance.
Then a waiter came and gave us a hint that we could scan the QR code to order.
We were also provided with a physical menu.
We ordered 5 dishes in total.
Two appetizers, one main dish, one stir-fry and one beef sour soup.
Maybe because it’s still early? There were only a few scattered tables of customers in the whole place.
So their waiters can walk around leisurely,
I don't know what they are busy with.
My girlfriend kept mumbling about how none of the dishes were served.
I still doubt that I ordered all the meals using my mobile phone.
I called the waiter to confirm that the order had been placed.
Then after waiting for about 20 minutes, the food was finally served.
We served beef in sour soup/bacon cauliflower/scallion pancakes.
It’s understandable that the food is expensive and the portions are small.
After all, there is a place in Manhattan where soil and money are stored, right?
But the dishes that arrived were all warm, even a little cold!
It’s so incomprehensible! !
Not a single dish is smoking!
The main course and main course were all served at the same time, and the appetizer was the white pork with garlic paste. By the time I had almost eaten, the last cold appetizer, the little squid in sauce, had not yet arrived.
The waitress next door came over and looked at her twice before asking,
Your little squid with sauce haven’t been served yet?
Do you think she was there to rush for food? Good guy, I've been waiting for 5 minutes and it still hasn't come.
All right! Even if you don’t want to eat it!
I ordered the check on my phone and the waitress came over.
I said I couldn’t wait any longer and canceled the appetizer.
After swiping the card, they didn't ask me if I needed a receipt, nor did they give me a receipt!
And asked for packing. (I almost didn’t eat the fat beef in sour soup.)
The waitress brought the fat beef in sour soup and packed it away.
I went to the bathroom. When I came back, it was already packed and on the table.
It's strange when I mention it. I didn't use my chopsticks much to eat the food, so why was the package so light?
Open the bag and take a look, hey! Guess what? !
Awesome! There are only a few pieces of fat beef and pickles left in the sour soup. The sour soup is gone!
No more sour soup, only a few pieces of fat beef left! Niubi or not? !
I caught a male waiter passing by and asked,
I said, I have some fat beef in sour soup and packed it up.
Why are there only fat cows left? What about sour soup?
The male waiter apologized and said that the new waiter might not understand.
He turned around and took the box of fattened beef I packed in.
Turning around, he came out with a fat beef box filled with sour soup.
To be honest, I don’t dare to eat it!
Is this sour soup made in my kitchen? Or was it poured out into the leftovers trash bin that was used to clear the table? I really can't believe it! Anyway, I don’t dare to ask for it!
I don’t dare to come to this restaurant again!
If their managers or owners really want to do a good job in this restaurant,
I hope they can ser

Planned a large party event for my wedding rehearsal dinner. 27 people party on the private balcony. 3 months in advance with the prefixed menu. The manager did not write down the event on the calander after the deposit was made. Our guest sat there for 1.5 hours wondering why the foods not coming. Staff didn't speak well English. They didn't understand and argued the menu that was pre-arranged.

I had the displeasure of meeting Evaristo upon my arrival. I had a voucher for an early dinner where a friend cancelled. He said I couldn’t have the meal alone and told me that I should just come back tomorrow and that there was no manager that I could speak to. I asked him the best way to get a refund and he walked off. I had to walk to the end of the bar where was to get his name. It’s worth noting that there was absolutely no one in the restaurant, so I was not going “use up” a table for two alone because I would have been there only guest.
Ultimately, I really would have hated to have him serve me because whatever was on tv or on his phone was more worthwhile than helping me get a resolution.

Foods are fine, but the service are the worst, we came in late at night, there’s only 2 tables there, servers never came to our table from the beginning, not even once!!! And worst part is when we ask for check, there’s a guy came up from no where, swiped my card, and sneaky tab the 20% gratuity on the iPad, he though I didn’t see him doing that, how the hell he think he deserve that!!!!

Hutaoli is a music restaurant and bar that specializes in Sichuan cuisine. We came here for Saturday dinner and we were quite impressed with the lady singer that sang both in English and Chinese. We were also surprised how big this restaurant is.
For a hot summer night, we started our dinner with a nice bottle of Sauvignon blanc and went straight to the dinner menu. We ordered Hutaoli fried rice, pork belly with spicy garlic and a stir fry beef with vegetables. We found the dishes delicious with good portion, the 3 dishes are adequate for 2 people. The food also came all at once.
We found our dinner here truly enjoyable with good price point, live entertainment and friendly service. We will comeback back to try their other dishes

Food was great. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. The servers were very attentive. There was a piano player who was very good. She played Alicia Keys and Burt Bacharach, so she gets my cosign! I loved the atmosphere so much.
