The best coffee shop in NY UES! Great quality, friendly staff, and a cool vibe. You know it’s a great place when the NY Fire Department Crew stops here for coffee!

Hutch and Waldo is great neighborhood spot for a quick bite, I like the look of the place, it has an easy going feel. A nice spot to grab and go or stay and watch the crowd a bit.

I believe some of the other orders mentioned it but it felt like online orders were prioritized over orders in person. Waited about 15 minutes for a sando.

No seating, overpriced, forgot my tater tots, bitter smoothies, mid food all around, sassy service, don’t recommend.

It's nice, I just wish the general area was a little less cramped.
There's a lot of street obstacles like chairs, tables, dogs, kids and strollers with nowhere out of the way to park, so it becomes hard to navigate. Forming a line is hard as well due to the lack of space
Please install a top wall or pigeon spikes on the ledges over the ordering/waiting area. Pigeons often sit up there and cause issues with poop falling.

It is just a place to pick up some quick coffee. Coffee was very bad with ground coffees in the drink. Bakery items tasted days old.

This feels like a dark kitchen despite trying to market themselves as a place you can pop in. We used to come regularly. However, we noticed that they always prioritize the mobile orders instead of prioritizing helping the people who have walked in and are waiting.
One day, we ordered and waited a full 10 minutes with a baby in a stroller. Various orders came and went. No one bothered to check on us. Finally, we asked for a refund and planned to go somewhere else. At that point, they said they hadn’t started the order so could get to it (shocking that they would wait 10 min to start the coffee order). We said no, we’ll take the refund. Then, they said they refunded us but couldn’t print the receipt due to technical issues (another red flag?). We found it quite shocking a food and beverage establishment can’t print a paper receipt.
We will not be coming back, but if we did, mobile order is the way to go, since this is clearly not a cute coffee shop where you can walk in and expect a relaxing experience.

I just went there like 5 minutes ago (1/16/25 at 12:30pm)
Coffee was great and the place is nice but their customer service sucks; the lady at the register was super rude and had a horrible attitude.
This totally ruined my experience. Not trying to be a hater; just saying that people with poor customer service skills should not be in the front of the house.
