Stunning experience for my fiancées 30th birthday requesting a private booth. It was such a lovely experience - all the food was insane. We're from Scotland visiting NYC and it really was one of the many highlights of the trip.

Ambiance was good, foods were excellent. But 1.5 hour limit iş not fair. They didnt serve for one more bottle of vine Becouse of time limit

Amazing spot. Saw it on instagram randomly and so thankful I did. The A5 omakase is unreal. Shout out to the man JOE who was the best. Promote him to Chief kindness officer and director of operations. Thank you joe and team!

Had HYUN on my list for a while now -

Service: Incredible, our server was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. He recommended the pairings between salts/sauce & the cuts of meat, and they cook for you. The experience is definitely more premium than other establishments, but evidently it’s another way for them to manage the time (~90 minute limit)

Food: It’s Japanese wagyu, and the starting platter consists of multiple parts of the animal with varying degrees of marbling. The banchan & side dishes are delicious - there is kimchi, a refreshing lettuce and another scallion salad. Side dishes are ‘unlimited,’ but you need to finish eating it first, which is fair. The course itself promotes as a ‘tasting,’ followed by an ‘ayce’ aka ‘encore’ portion, though that is not really true to the name. You can only order 1-2 platters of meat per item, and I can tell the service slows down a lot during this time to draw out the remaining time to the limit. We were able to order 3 additional platters of Wagyu before last call, though I’m sure that varies party to party - the plates come out with 2-3ish pieces too depending on party size of course.

Atmosphere: Interior is sleek, modern with a taste of warm, cozy, wooden accents. It’s simple and nice; noise levels tend to be on the lower and more manageable side for conversations too.

Overall: Would I come again? Maybe, it is an experience. But definitely more for special occasions, as it is more a premium cost. I do wish the establishment is a bit more candid about what to expect.

5 star service all around. Worth the high end price for both the food and the service. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.

For girlies who don’t have big appetite, this place may not be for you. Meat quality is pretty good and restaurant gives hidden gem vibe is tucked away in Ktown. However, after first round, I’m already full and the given it’s Wagyu it can get too oily very quickly. I don’t have the appetite for another round. Definitely didn’t eat my money back, but I can totally see the meat lover boys will enjoy it and find it worth the price

When the bill is over 500$ for two, I expected more than I riceived. Good the A5 but the rest isn't at the high of my expectetion. And I have to brought our clothes to the laundry because they smell like after a dinner in a tavern. For me you have an hard work to deserve Michelin Guide.

The food is good but the concept is meh. I don’t want all you can eat wagyu. As a Korean, I prefer just…normal Korean bbq. I won’t be back.

They canceled our reservation with NO NOTICE. They made no attempt to try to contact us before our reservation time.

We'd made reservations once prior, but had to cancel and reschedule. They said that they had to charge us the cancellation fee, but would credit us for our next meal. When we made the reservation for the next meal, they just cancelled our reservation without ever trying to contact us. When I called in to ask what happened, they said the original card used to make the reservation was not valid. I use this card everyday, it's valid.

False advertising. Not true all you can eat. I left the restaurant STARVING. We were stopped after 2 hours. 6 of the 8 people at my table were still hungry. And they take their time to cook each round. At normal Korean bbq there is never a moment where I don’t have meat cooking on the pan. There was a solid 10-15 minutes between each round and it was torture knowing when I’m going to get my next tiny 3 pieces that they serve to each person.

The only reason this isn’t a 1 star review is because the service was good and the waiters were kind.

The more people you bring the less it’s worth it as it takes more time for them to cook all the meat and cut it. They cut the pieces so small, they should’ve served them as the actual full steaks that they cooked it as on the pan.

After 4 rounds we were cut off. But the rounds were so tiny as they serve you this tiny plate of 3 tiny pieces per person. I don’t think I had even a full 8oz of meat. And I dropped 4 pounds of weight when I weighed myself the next morning because I barely ate anything. I actually had to go home and make DINNER at midnight when I got back home because I couldn’t go to bed with how much my stomach was growling. I wasn’t going to pay any more money for food from another restaurant as I had spent so much at this restaurant. So I ate dinner at home.

I’ve never written a bad food review, but this one deserves it. I’ve never spent this much at a restaurant before and left wondering what the hell just happened. They literally shut us down from getting another round of meat.

Not to mention they automatically added a 20% gratuity as if they deserved it. So $400 for me and my girlfriend for us to leave and still have to eat dinner at home.

The plate in my photo is what was shared between the 4 people each round on my side of the table. Literally 3 tiny pieces per person, and 4 rounds of that. This was kid portions.

Had it actually been all you can eat I would’ve rated it 4 stars as the meat was delicious, although 1 of the cuts each round was so fatty it didn’t taste like there was any meat on those pieces. The other cuts were delicious

My girlfriend and I also had terrible diarrhea after the restaurant as soon as we got home. Not fun

There are private and semi-private booths. Elegant and relaxing. The wagyu is amazing and the pace lets you savor each bite before the next. Bon chon could be better. However, simple is the best way to appreciate wagyu.

Extremely overpriced. Crazy.
I can accept the price of the meat, but for the Sotbap, you’re basically just paying for the truffle.
There’s nothing particularly interesting about the flavor on Sotbap
The side dishes were just average — something you could easily get at a $15–30 restaurant.
