Not a very well place to eat. Nothing like in 126th by lex ave. Service was sloow! There were only 2 serving all the tables. Omg !! Food took long to and there was ?No fan or AC. And on this weather ?☀️☀️. My kids didn't enjoy it. I would recommend eating in another place were there's AC or just hire more people.

In the middle of a heat wave. There is no AC. As I sip my coffee I’m getting hotter and hotter: at least put a fan up. Temperatures are getting ready to be 98 degrees. I feel bad for the staff and with Covid going around there’s no type of air circulation in the building. Just muggy and hot. Food was ok. Waitress was ok

This was the worst experience I have had at an IHOP. If I could zero stars, I would.Originally, I went to the location on 125th and found out it was closed. I decided to go to the one on 135th street. The waitress was rude. I don't know if she was having a rough day but the service was horrible. When she came to take the order she was very impatient. It took a while for the order to arrived. She placed the glass of water on the table hard. She never stopped by to check on the table. I was handed the wrong receipt. I noticed that there were around 5 tables that needed to be cleaned. For instance, the table next to me was left with dishes for at least 10 minutes. It created a situation where people had to wait. In fact when I left there were a line of ppl waiting to be seated. Years ago, I went to this restaurant and it has deteriorated since my last visit.I would not recommend this establishment

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast. The food was hot. I have not been to a IHOP in years. All good.

I’m not sure where to even start. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The menus were sticky and had filthy crumbs on them. The forks, spoons and knifes weren’t properly cleaned. We waited over an hour for our food even though it was completely empty aside from 2 small families. To top it all off I found a roach in my drink. Safe to say no one should be eating here and management needs to either shut this place down or make a change in staffing and deep cleaning.

Wow food was...bad. The pancakes were stale and like crunchy in places it should not be crunchy. THERE WAS ROACHES WE SAW ONE AND TOLD A MANAGER and she said it's normal and made us still pay full price. They gave us buffalo sauce instead of hot sauce. The bathroom had no toilet paper too. The server was...direct but it was funny hence the extra star! Certainly an entertaining experience! Terrifying tho LMAOOOO

A couple of tips before you decide to eat here. 1. Before being seated, ask the host if the kitchen and/or the service is slow as hell. 2. If the host says no, look and see how many people are dining in the restaurant. If there are more than four people eating inside the restaurant, go someplace else. I thought that I ordered what would have been a simple meal - two sausages, two eggs, hashbrowns, two pancakes, and a cup of coffee. It took about 50 minutes to receive my food, which was unacceptable (IMO). Also, I'm not really sure why the plate with the sausages, eggs, and hashbrowns came out at least 7 minutes before the plate with the pancakes. I visited this location at 10:45 am on a Friday morning, and the place was not packed. Since the pancakes were ice cold, I asked the waitress if she could reheat the pancakes. She apologized for the cold pancakes and told me that she would bring out a new order. I do not think that I was being picky with my pancakes, because the table next to mine also sent their cold food back to the kitchen, so maybe the kitchen was a mess. Luckily for the other table, they received their reheated food within a couple of minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting for my new pancakes, I asked for the check and mentioned that I never received the pancakes. Although I told the waitress not to worry about the pancakes, she brought them out in a to-go container with the check. *Perhaps, she did not want me to ask a manager to remove the pancakes from the check.* Um, the whole point of dining in was to eat at the restaurant. If I wanted to eat my breakfast at home, I would have ordered my food to go. The better option probably would have been to skip the restaurant and make my breakfast at home. It's funny how it can take forever and a day to place an order and/or receive your food, but the restaurant will bring your check and run your credit/debit card at the speed of light. I don't know if the kitchen, the service team, or a combination of the two was a hot mess. I will say that I heard some yelling in the kitchen while I was waiting for our food. I'm gonna go with the combination because it took forever and a day just to get a cup of coffee and a cup of ice. Soapbox moment #1: Over the years, Harlem businesses have been pleading with residents to keep their money inside of Harlem. It's getting to the point of saying why should we support businesses in the area when we receive subpar service, food, products, etc. *Ok, I know IHoP is not a local business, but I imagine that many of the employees of this IHoP live in the area.* If and when I have an IHoP fix in the future, I'll just go to the one on 14th street. Soapbox moment #2: I know that the service industry has suffered from the pandemic resulting in many places being short-staffed. Here's my thing: If you know your kitchen and/or service teams are hot messes, then let the customers know before they commit to dining at the restaurant. Seriously, it will save frustration for both the customers and the restaurant's staff.

From what it use to be this place is definitely starting to look run down.. holes in cushions, spider webs, chipped paint etc aside from all that the utensils was still dirty so I asked for plastic utensils which our server provided with no problem... the food was trash like ewwww.. I was sad about this because I love breakfast. coffee options no flavors beside mocha and there was no ice coffee food finally comes out it look good but it wasn't. My niece played with her food because she said it was nasty ( she had the jr. Chicken and waffles) my mom ordered the Appetizer sampler and pancakes bacon with eggs. I ordered the pancake combo with the New York cheesecake pancakes ( use to be my favorite) and boy trash everything the only thing that was good was the drinks. The bacon was salty af, eggs was oily, pancakes were dry and crumbling apart, the hash brown was just stuck together the sampler was left on the plate.... I was server Mary was really understanding and did her best to accommodate us for our experience & I appreciate her ... I can go another year without IHOP honestly but the one star is for the server

The IHOP on 135th & Adam Clayton has to step they game up.The place was dirty. Dirty dishes still on the empty tables upon entry. The table was filthy with ketchup & syrup stains. I requested the bus boy to clean table. He proceeded to use a dry table cloth to wipe down the table quickly. He had a stench which lingered behind him when he finished doing a poor job cleaning the table. Needless to say the table was still dirty. I moved to another booth, which was a little cleaner, but the silverware was dirty. I requested new silver ware twice then requested plastic silverware. They didn't even offer several items on the menu. I ordered chicken & pancakes, when the food came the so called chicken turned out to be some processed large frozen chicken nuggets that you could get at McDonald's. On a positive note, the young brother , who was the waiter was professional and polite, considering how ghetto it is up in there and how greatly they are understaffed. In conclusion, NEVA AGAIN

I usually eat at this IHOP. Supporting my neighborhood business but... their customer service is poor, they never have what's on the menu and they are DIRTY!! I ordered a steak burger and they had no burgers nor fries. Instead of leaving, I decided to support my local business and had their breakfast plate. As I write this review , I am violently sick from their food. My food was cold and not well done. While there, I went to use the restroom and the manager stopped me from entering the restroom. She was so busy on her phone she did not know I was one of the three customers in the restaurant . I mean I hate I have to do this... and I had to ask for clean utensils 3 different times. I am so so so done with IHOP on 135th St in Harlem.

Server was good. Could have bit a little more attentive but no major issues with him. Really friendly. As far as the food, I did not like. The waffle was like a sponge. Weird I know but best way to describe it. The eggs were scrambled with cheese but tasted weird. I also had bacon that could have been cooked a little more. The hash brown was good. If there's a next time I'll try something different.

I go here about 2-3 times a year and don't have any complaints when I go. The food is delicious and the service is good but you can tell some of the waitresses have an attitude (although I've never had a waitress with attitude). I wish I could eat here all the time. yummy.

A portion is huge and it is pretty tasty, but my appetite was a bit ruined after visiting the restroom, it might need to look a bit more modern. And while eating a pun cake I have found something, maybe that was something from the strawberry jam, but that ruined my appetite totally.
