Consistently great sushi & service! Quality is top notch. This is the top place for sushi in NYC hands down. Staff is attentive & friendly. Highly recommend coming here for quality sushi & great ambience.

The salmon teriyaki bento lunch special is more expensive here ($21.72, tax included) compared to other Japanese restaurants in the neighborhood. The portions are also smaller, and it’s a choice of miso soup or salad, whereas others give you both. The atmosphere is probably the best part…minimalist and serene, enhanced by soft New Age music playing in the background.

Great sushi place in the neighborhood. We were able to get edamame, salad, miso soup, one special roll, and two classic roles for under $50. Really great food and fair prices.

I would suggest that you consider exploring other options besides the nabeyaki soba, as it didn’t meet my expectations in terms of flavor and traditional soba characteristics, both in the broth and the noodles.

Great quality and fresh flavors. Small details are taken care of. However, smaller portions

Delicious ? All the sushi was perfect. We had futomaki, spider roll, angry dragon, sweet heart, and something with mango Plus soba noodles with beef ✨

Absolutely wonderful but understated sushi spot on the upper East side. Always super fresh ingredients with a quiet but kind staff. Atmosphere is relaxing, and spa like. I recommend always getting a pot of tea, which is lovely floral with an air of jasmine. Great place 5 star quality at 3 star prices.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide paths allow easy access for wheel chairs, no steps.

No offense but this is your mediocre neighborhood suburban sushi restaurant.

Must try: Pearl Roll and Maki B Roll Combo! Why: Loved the Pearl Roll (8 pcs) with spicy scallop, cucumber, white fish and ponzu sauce. Also enjoyed the Maki B Roll Combo, which included California, Salmon Avocado, and Eel Cucumber (6 pcs each). Large pieces and fresh fish. Combo also came with soup or salad so I got a hot Miso Soup. Notes: I ordered delivery for dinner and it came fairly quickly. I thought the dinner roll combo was a good deal ($23). Will order again and try other rolls.

Best/freshest quality sushi in the area. Efficient local delivery. Idk what I would do without this place! It can be expensive if you order their higher end items/box deals.. the standard roll prices are comparable to the area but better/fresher quality. Great for lunch or dinner.

I was very excited about this place, but unfortunately none of their food hit the spot. We ordered a premium set dish for two which included many dishes, and none of them were memorable.Starting with edamame beans and shishito peppers, to their beef and fish - all seemed very bland and below average in terms of taste.

Fresh, flavorful, substantial. Some of the best sushi I’ve had on UES since SushiHanna closed 10+yrs ago. Finally found our new go-to spot.
