I'd been to many other restaurants in Little Italy in NYC but I have to admit Il Cortile is one of the best. Where do I start, from the welcoming I wasn't sure if he was the owner or Restaurant Mngr., the service, the restaurant itself is large, inside is also beautiful, and of course the food, amazing
Great family New Year celebration! Service was excellent! Had everything from clams casino to tomatoe basil mozzarella salad, seafood linguine with excellent shrimp and lobster Staff were very accommodating! Surprised by a roaming opera singer that added a special touch to the evening
Very disappointed as one of us has a dairy allergy and asked the waiter if there was any butter in the linguine and clam sauce, and we were told no. It doesn't take long for someone who is lactose intolerant to find out there is dairy in a dish. Very unhappy about that. Also my dish was disappointing as it was supposed to be in a garlic and oil sauce and came out in a brown spicy sauce. Second time to this restaurant. Will definitely try other restaurants in Little Italy...
