We had a wonderful dinner at Il Divino! Starting with warm, crusty bread and olive oil with seasoning. We went on to enjoy a Caesar salad, shrimp scampi with roasted veggies, penne vodka, linguine with beef ragu and finished up with the tiramisu. Everything was delicious and the service outstanding. The older music and cozy environment set the tone. If I had only one suggestion, I would say that the shrimp was overcooked.
What a wonderful experience! The restaurant we have been going to since 1987 closed and we've been looking for a new favorite restaurant. Found it!!
Great after seeing a show at New World Stages! The food was amazing and really good service. Happy to have found this place.
We love Il Divino - it's a perfect local Italian. Service is friendly and professional. Food is consistently good and comforting. It's our go-to spot for the theater district - it's a bit of a walk (about 15 minutes), but away from the hustle and bustle of the true theater district restaurants. Highly recommend if you want a reasonable and friendly place with great food.
Service was courteous, expedient, and prompt. Food was very good, we thoroughly enjoyed the carbonara. The risotto special wasn't as flavorful as hoped. Only issue is we had the table right in front of the door and the hostess holding it open when checking other guests in. Not so comfortable on a cold NYC afternoon.
Time after time, we are impressed with the dinner. The chef cooks the food perfectly to our tastes and the sauces taste very good. The waiters are pleasant and always there for service.
Really delicious food! Tight fit spatially, but very cute vibe. Service was a little slow but that it nitpicking.
This restaurant is a must go! Everything from the welcoming staff, to the decor and then the amazing food. Everything was outstanding and anytime I am back to NY I will be going here.
Perfect pre theatre dinner spot. Large portions were a pleasant surprise, which led us to sharing various plates.
Excellent. My sisters and nephew enjoyed a fantastic meal and dessert. We arrived early (4 30) Relatively small, cozy spot well decorated and not overdone. Service was great and the food superb. Pasta cooked perfectly and the sauces on target. Do not skip dessert.

Delicious food in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Service was fabulous. You would never know you're a block from the theater district or Times Square.
Our experience here was excellent from start to finish. We were seated immediately, and the ambiance struck the perfect balance of cozy and comfortable. Our party of four shared two appetizers and a bottle of Chianti suggested by our server — a fantastic recommendation. Each entrée was generously sized and beautifully prepared. For dessert, the tiramisu and panna cotta were both outstanding. I would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!
Having the best Italian during our nyc visit was on our list. The reviews here were so positive, but we were a little disappointed. The music was fast club music which didn't seem to fit. We have a 3 year old and they charged us for a full price penne with butter. The food was just ok. I had the salmon with vodka sauce and penne, which didn't have much salmon or asparagus in it. My son's lasagna was over seasoned with basil. The highlight was definitely the focaccia bread and garlic infused olive oil. We may have to go back just for that! Service was attentive.
Had a great time with the wife! Great authentic Italian food and very friendly staff.

Excellent pappardelle and the best lasagne I've ever tasted. Will come back again and again.
