Went at an off time so tables were easy to get. Despite off time the staff were as attentive as if it were a peak seating. The pasta dishes were very good but the sauces could’ve been thicker and more aggressively seasoned…I don’t want to say bland and watery because they weren’t but I expected more, especially from an item called “spicy” rigatoni considering the competition from others in the neighborhood. The setting is intimate and the vibe is local fancy nonna despite the massive glass windows overlooking a busy intersection opposite the SoHo Grande. Would definitely go again but would ask for punchier versions of the dishes.

This place fraudulently booked a table with my phone number and never sent a cancellation. I have never been here and never intend on going.
In town traveling and decided to stop in for lunch. Luis took care of us for lunch and we had an absolutely spectacular experience. Our cocktails were perfectly balanced and delightful. From apps to dessert, every forkful was magic. Cannot recommend it enough!

Service here was awful! First,, we understand waits are sometimes expected. We waited over 30 minutes past our reservation. However, the issue was not the wait but the lack of apology or acknowledgment of us the entire time we waited. When we ordered our food we specified that someone in our party has a severe shellfish allergy. When our appetizer came, it was fried (which was not specified on the menu) so we asked about the allergy and it was discovered that it had been fried directly in a fryer with shellfish. Lastly, we waited an HOUR to get our check. We asked our waiter again and not only was there again no apology for the delay, we continued to wait as the entire staff were filming videos of the manager making pasta in the main dining room several times. Again, no apologies for the delay or issues with the service we experienced. We do not recommend this restaurant. Although the food was good, the service we experienced was awful.

We had a wonderful time at il mulino prime , from the start to the end we were treated like kings , our waiter Louis did a tremendous job recommending our entire dinner . We had burrata , mushroom ravioli and ribeye steak ; absolutely delicious. He paired a great bottle of nebbiollo as well . . Thank you Louis for bringing such a great time to us. We'll be back .
