Loved our recent early dinner at Il Mulino Prime. My husband and I love to split things (highly recommend the specials: crab/shrimp stuffed zucchini blossoms, the heirloom tomato salad and the Sea Bass) and they accommodated us beautifully even bringing gratis digestifs to accompany our tiramisu. Personal, kind, attentive service--we'll be back!

This restaurant is really charming. I'm really unsure of why it doesn't have at least a solid four stars. The service was impeccable. It was honestly a very good experience. The decor was lovely and charming. The octopus the steak, the crabcake, they knocked it out of the park.

I am sorry for this, but not as the restaurant used to be. The food quality and the service are not at the level you expect from the reviews. Just very slow service and mediocre food. I would not recommend it at all. I had a very unpleasant experience and I was embarrassed with my guest for the waiting time, the dirty bathrooms and the quality of the food. I should have gone somewhere else. I am very disappointed because I used to like this restaurant. I am not going into further details but please try somewhere else if you want to have a pleasant time. :(

We came in tonight for a reservation for 10 people at 8:30. My friend had called multiple times to confirm this reservation since it was a large party so they knew we were coming. We arrived 15 minutes early and were greeted with a laugh from Elvis when we mentioned our reservation. The place is small, and they obviously had no place reserved for us or even lined up for us. We were given no appropriate wait time, though we were buttered up with some free champagne and a jokingly "so the wait time is 45 minutes". Other reservations continued to come in and be sat within a timely manner while our whole party of 10 waited there smushed in between the opening door and the bar. We continued to ask him how much longer we would have to wait once 8:30 came and went and we were met with a laugh and a brushed shoulder-- no actual answer to what was happening/what we could expect. At 8:45 PM, after being in the restaurant for 30 mins with no clue of when we would be sat, we decided to leave. On the way out Elvis made sure to leave us with the comment, " what, a 15 minute wait and you're leaving?". I would recommend you take your business elsewhere-- at least to a place that has the decency to turn down large reservations if they cannot accommodate them. What a disappointment and a disgusting display of costumer service.

Prefix menu was a letdown with no prior warning on it, entrée carpaccio was FROZEN and they played total eclipse of the heart on V Day huge letdown by management, floor staff was phenomenal

The steak is a cut above.The seafood platter was balanced, it is a platter not a tower.The spinach with slivers of garlic and the mushrooms were excellent.The truffle butter was lovely.The table next to us had a vegan and a vegetarian. The waiter selected items for them carefully and respectfully. They ended up with an excellent meal.The best steak I have had in Soho, and not a chain.Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian pasta courses, salads, and appetizers.
