Slightly pricey for the portion sizes, but a popular and delicious spot! It'll definitely be a wait to get a seat on the weekends, but we came for dinner on a Tuesday and there was plenty of space. We started with the tigelle ($9), two small prosciutto and cheese sandwiches. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe ($21) was super flavorful. The agnolotti del plin ($28) came with an amazing sauce. Of course, the pasta was perfectly textured and chewy. For drinks, the il mulo dal sud ($16) was strong and refreshing. The only downside was that we were still hungry at the end, but we still had an enjoyable meal here!

You come to this place for the experience and Eataly doesn't disappoint. Lots to see and lots to buy. Food was delivered quickly to match the business lunch and service was efficient. This particular meal was fresh but over seasoned for my liking. The best part... The company I was with ?

My sister and I were in the flatiron area this weekend and she'd never been to Eataly before so we decided to stop in. She was amazed by all the pastas, cheeses, and more! While we were talking about the great ambiance that Eataly fosters, two seats opened up at the Il Pastaio bar so we sat down and grabbed a glass of wine. I can't speak to the food since we only got wine but the wine was delicious and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines. We had a great time!

I was stuck between a 4 ⭐️ and 3 ⭐️ but idk. Wine was good, service was great. The cesar and truffle bruschetta were on point and delicious, but I expected so much more of the pasta! The pasta itself felt perfect, but the sauces didn’t do it for me. Tagliatelle was good but something still felt off, and the amatriciana sauce was just so thick/chunky. Would come back for apps and wine if I’m shopping at eataly, but otherwise I wouldn’t come back. Oh and the tiramisu was great! They also mentioned to have the budino but I guess next time!

A pasta restaurant where you can truly feel the texture of raw noodles. If you choose the type of noodle, they will serve pasta that matches the noodle type.Personally, I like the texture of the noodles to be hard and rough, so I liked this place because it suited my taste.(However, likes and dislikes seem to differ)The cola is sold as Italian Cola, but it tastes like melted cola ice cream.

I love that you can watch them make fresh pasta as you dine. My friend and I shared the bruschetta which was not as enjoyable as I thought it would be - the bread was cold and hard, truffles not very flavorful. The pasta was delicious - I had the veal and lamb filling. I also ordered a Negroni that I couldn't finished - not well done at all.

Inside Eataly. Bar service. Food was very good. I would go back again for the Caesar salad, shaved Brussels and crispy bread crumbs. One of the beat I have ever had. Cacio e pepe was good but unfortunately was served barely warm which took away from the dish. The pasta was al dente perfection. Just shy of undercooked but perfect. Nice wine selection. Service was a little slow and servers seemed to be not very interested or enjoying their job. Great place for a taste of good food in small manageable portions. Having said that it is rather pricey but Eataly is a touristy place.

My wife was a little dangerous before sitting here. She hit the truffel pasta and smiled at me (full smile) after. Was good & worth her smile.

Went to Il Pastaio on a date. We'd planned to meet in Eataly and just find a place to sit down and have a drink. Looking at the menu, we decided to get food, and shared a couple appetizers (bread and a peach kale salad) and then got a mushroom risotto. All the food was really good, and the wait staff were pretty attentive and able to answer any questions we had. You can probably tell in advance when you get Il Pastaio that the prices on food will be high. They were, but it didn't feel unfair given the high dining vibe they maintain. Just know you can't go here expecting a cheaper meal. Still, the food, service and ambience were all great.

The food was awful. Everything was way over-salted to the point of inedible. This includes the tomato salad, buffalo mozzarella, and two pastas. I took about three bites of the pasta and pushed it away. Service was all smiley before the food came, then disappeared. Over $100 for a flat-out terrible meal.
