Great service. Food was very good, but not great. Avocado and tomato salad was good, however the tomatoes had been in the refrigerator too long and tasted like it. Pasta dish had excellent flavor, however arrived only warm and sticky and was difficult to get onto the fork. We ordered a bottle of wine recommended by the waiter and it was very good. Overall a very nice meal, but the food could have been better
Very interesting and delicious dishes. I my view the interesting aspects enhanced the essential tastes of the ingredients instead of hiding them. Although hardly a quite venue, there was an attractive buzz, and my companion and I had no problem carrying out a conversation.
During a meeting near the Flatiron District, I decided to revisit Eataly and stopped by II Pesce for lunch. Located on the ground floor, the restaurant is bustling with food traffic, so it’s not the best spot if you’re looking for an intimate or quiet dining experience. That said, the food was decent—nothing extraordinary, but solid and enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient, matching the casual vibe of the place.
