This place is amazing. I went here for a Valentine’s Day date and honestly it’s really surprising to see a restaurant keep up with the quality of service on this day but they did just that. The food was great, the truffle ravioli and short ribs were definitely the star of the show but personally I would skip the pistachio cheesecake. Everything else though was fantastic.

Awful awful AWFUL service. Incompetent hostesses that don’t know how to run a restaurant. Gave our seat away to someone else, made us wait to get seated for 30/40 minutes, and then overcharged us for a pasta we didn’t ask for. When asked to correct their mistake they threatened to call the police on us. INSANE. Avoid.

Great old school Italian with impeccable service. The best part is that they offer to make anything not on the menu. Make reservations. Loved it!

We have become regulars at Il Postino. The food is great and the service is excellent. It is not cheap but worth it for a special occasion.

Fun, old school, clubby neighborhood, elegant. Delicious food. Festive and sexy.

Beautiful restaurant and wonderfully decorated for Christmas ! Feels like you are in your own living room - good food expertly prepared and waiters very attentive and helpful Tables good distance apart so that you may converse without straining with your table mates !

One of the finest Italian restaurants in the city. If you're looking for great flavor, an impressive wine list and excellent service

Never eat at a table in the bar. Too close together. Constant traffic to back dining room. There were 2 different parties of 9 waiting for tables and no place to wait, so standing next to diners. Noise level made conversation difficult. Food was overpriced for what it was.

This was by far one of the best Christmas experiences ever. The ravioli with white truffle sauce (truffle was shredded at the table) was insanely delicious, best we ever had. (Pricey, though, at 225 a plate be warned). It was lunch so we had the restaurant almost to ourselves, and the chef came to our table. We intend to go back over the coming year to enjoy other great dishes. My sister got duck l'orange that was great, and the wine list is also wonderful.

Il Postino didn’t live up to the hype. The food was underwhelming and way overpriced for what you get. The service was subpar, and the atmosphere felt more focused on being “fancy” than actually delivering a good experience. Overall, not worth the money or the time.

Best Italian in the area. Restaurant looks small from outside but it’s actually huge. Swift friendly service, extensive menu, delicious food, they’ll make you anything you want.
