It's always like going home when dining at Il Tinello. I have been going there for many years when traveling to NYC and it continues to be my favorite. I look forward to returning in the future.

I'm a long time customer! I love the staff and food! How ever there was an extremely rude very loud Spanish speaking woman sitting by her self close to us and was extremely loud having a conversation on Her phone face timing and not being considerate at all to the other guests. I'm surprised the waiters didn't ask her to please take her call out side. She had 3 calls in total. Not short. The other table left and was clearly irritated at this as well. I told our waiter about it when we left that it was not a pleasant experience like we normally have. Please be considerate of your guests and ask People taking face time calls to go out to finish them so we can enjoy dinner with our friends and family and hear them.

Nice overall experience- food was excellent, service was attentive but overly dramatic. We were surprised that there was no wine by the glass offered on the wine list- and the wine list had no mercy when it came to price. We managed to find a good choice that didn't break the bank so dinner was saved. If the wine hadn't been such a problem, I would highly recommend this restaurant for the food and ambience.

Our go to special occasion restaurant. We have been returning over 25 years and it's the only one of our favorites that has weathered the test of time. Excellent food and service. If you want a classic NYC Italian this is the place.

Very good food. Caesar Salad dressing made from scratch at the table. Excellent service. Prices were a little higher than posted on the menu for some reason but it wasn't a huge difference so I didn't bother asking why.
