The head waiter is nasty. He barks at his staff in front of the guests. The staff with red coats are the hardest workers and very nice, helpful and accommodating. The server we had was also gruff and not at all enthusiastic, helpful or nice. Food was tasty but portions were small.

Outstanding food and service!! Recommended by a family friend it was exactly the type of experience we were looking for. From appetizers to dessert we enjoyed every bite. We took our time between courses, never felt rushed and even enjoyed some Limoncello as a gift before we left. Would definitley recommend and come back the next time we're in town.

We were rushed through our dinner, despite several requests to slow things down. The bus boys were clanking and stacking dishes. There was a baby screaming. When I couldn't eat the tiramisu because it was loaded with liquor, there was not only pushback, but apathy that in this high-end expensive restaurant, the dessert was not edible for me. We always looked forward to dinners at Il Tinello, but sadly this once elegant NY Italian gem felt more like a Denny's at ten times the price.

They billed us 395$ for wine that was not ours. Chicken pacata over potatoes no way. We ask for spaghetti and they added extra 23$ for quarter amount of it. Veal parmaigina no spaghetti just two quarter pieces potatoes. Overpriced not worth it

Four years living here, and this was the first time I felt uncomfortable in a restaurant. I didn’t like the service at all — zero warmth, pressure to order wine. I had barely sat down and they were already asking which wine I wanted. Hello? What’s the rush?
The food is not worth the price.
I have never felt such an urge to leave a place as I did the day I was there.
We walked in with a service animal. A manager said we couldn’t enter with a dog. I showed him the paperwork and he said we couldn’t enter because it wasn’t a service animal even though he could see the documentation. Disgusting behavior.

We have a Christmas tradition of coming here with friends, and the ambiance is always spectacular. The staff is kind, welcoming, and attentive. We started with the Caesar salad and oysters, which were fresh and delicious.
We ordered the Lobster Pasta à la Diavola as the special of the day. While the flavor was very good, the pasta was undercooked and quite hard. One of my friends sent it back, and unfortunately, it still came out the same way.
That said, this experience will not stop me from coming back. We genuinely love this restaurant, its atmosphere, and its people. I simply hope more attention is paid to consistency—especially with a dish highlighted as a special—because that level of detail is what truly sets a great restaurant apart.

The only thing that caught us off guard was the pumpkin soup, which was really good but it was a special and we forgot to ask for the price. But the soup cost $30, which (for me) is pretty pricey.
Other than that, the food here is pretty great. I particularly enjoyed the veal. The peppers that they serve are fantastic too.
The service was good. The restaurant has nice decor but it was a bit too dark.
