We had an excellent experience at Il Tinello on 46th Street. From the moment we arrived and were greeted at the door, we were treated to friendly and efficient service. The food was great -- we had 5 people in our party and we all enjoyed different appetizers and main courses. All were great, but special mention goes to the pasta dished which were delicious. Deserts did not disappoint. We would highly recommend Il Tinello for any occasion. Thanks for a great evening!

It is rare to find a restaurant on OpenTable that will take a party of 12, and have great reviews, but that is what happened here at Il Tinello. Food was DELICIOUS, service was amazing, ambience was so cool, and it was definitely energetic, but really fun. Highly recommend, and having the owner Benny there, makes you feel taken care of, as he oversees everything with a kind hand. Will come back again soon.

Restaurant was packed on Saturday night. We had 7:15PM reservation and didn't get seated until almost 8PM. Since it was very crowded, we took the two person table and added another chair for the 3rd person. Other than that, food were excellent, service was really good. The owner came and apologize for the delay in seating. The bartender/waitress was so nice and give us free drink. Over all, it was good. I would not bring those with handicap issue to the restaurant though since it has steps.

I’ve been going to Il Tinello for a year, and the food is amazing. Bartender Arta is wonderful; she makes my experience at the bar always enjoyable. Benny, the owner, is hands-on and makes sure everyone I know who goes there has a great time, and they all come back and tell me it’s fantastic.

Very classy Italian place, I ordered the truffle Risotto which is very fragrant and truffly. It’s not very greasy and comes w mixed mushrooms. Complimentary bruschetta also really good. The peppers that came as appetizers were super spicy though.
I am a local in the neighborhood and absolutely LOVE visiting Il Tinello. Benny has a way of making every guest feel so special and welcome. The food and service are a 10/10!
