What a disappointment! We walked 25 minutes to get breakfast at this place. We only wanted a piece of toast to share and two coffees. We visited many cafes to learn more, so we only ordered one thing to eat. They told us that we had to order both meals, otherwise we wouldn't be able to get a table. We didn't like this policy or the way they spoke to us, so we left.

Very busy little place and not much room to move around in, otherwise very cute atmosphere. We ordered English breakfast tea but it definitely wasn’t a traditional British tea 😅 sadly didn’t stay hot for very long either. Food was lovely though just too much for me to eat! Overall is quite pricey but I think that’s the norm here, I’m not a local so wouldn’t know.

Felt rushed. Service could be improved. Food is good.
Our group of 3 waited for about 20 minutes to dine in, which isn’t bad at all for a popular brunch place on a Sunday morning. But our dining experience was poor.
They offered us to sit in a small round table that is barely enough for two people, let alone three. It was very uncomfortable.
The table was like 2/3 occupied after our drinks arrived. There just isn’t room for sharing the three dishes that we ordered, and the utensils are big and take up some spaces too. To make it worse, the server just handed over a plate without helping us to make space or arrange the plating on the table.
The food is good. We all agreed the ricotta toast was our favorite.
We also felt rushed to finish and leave. I understand they wanted to speed things up to accommodate the long line. But as customers who just wanted to enjoy food and drinks on a weekend, we felt that this isn’t a good place for a 3 people hangout.

I had unpleasant experience here. Eggplant tempura was spicy however the menu doesn't say so. I reported to the waitress she said it's not spicy. I was like am I eating or you are eating? I don't think I had tempura that has chili pepper in the dough. It took me time to figure out the pepper in the dough. By the time I saw chili pepper I was half way through the tempura. I asked for a side for replacement. But they ended up charging me on the side. Other places would give me free of charge.

I order the avocado toast, was really good, also the ricotta toast and my friend took the salmon toast. The only observation we had it’s that was difficult to cut the bread just maybe have knife sharp would do the difference. Besides that the flavor was good, very normal.

Absolutely the worst spot in NYC. There is so much smoke from all the cooking in the kitchen. I walked out and smelt like burnt potatoes. They also have a ridiculous policy that if you show up early you can get seated but have to order a full meal. Which is fine, but if more people show up and need to change the table you need to order another full meal. !! Which is an absurd policy. So I’ve been standing here for 40 minutes waiting for the full party to arrive so I don’t have to order two full meals. Anyway, I asked to be seated 10 minutes early because half the restaurant was empty and they still wouldn’t sit me unless I sat down and immediately gave them my friends food order while I wait for them!!! Like what- last I went out to eat it takes about 10 minutes to sit down and get situated and look at the menu. And at that point they told me they can’t sit me until my whole party arrived - so now they’ve told me a NEW policy. It was absolutely ridiculous behavior and totally uncalled for.
The worst customer service. I’ve been living in NYC for 10 years and have never experienced anything like this. Even at the nicest restaurants. The manager was zero help and did not care at all.

The food is simply outstanding. The bread tastes like it was freshly baked, and the salad was perfectly seasoned. The matcha was a delightful surprise, and the chicken parm was superb. I can recommend this place highly enough—it’s easily one of my favorite breakfast spots in NYC!

Good food but as soon as you walk out you will notice the smell from the restaurant on your clothes and hair the whole day… would not visit it again because of this…
Editing this after 3 days of the comment above: whole clothes still smell disgusting… my expensive coat is for the rubbish

Great food, good service and fair prices. The manager felt the need to hold the front door open through our entire meal. It is 23 degrees outside today. Wtf are you thinking ??

Local with good breakfast options.
We didn't like that it didn't have a double door or something to prevent the cold from bothering us every time someone entered.
