Honestly one of the best pizza and Italian places in NYC. It's consistently delicious. Get the round pizza over the nonna style. The pasta arrabiata is sooo good. We're lucky to have it as a neighborhood fixture but the location probably doesn't attract too many New Yorkers from other neighborhoods - but it should! If you find yourself in Lower Manhattan this is a don't-miss spot.
When we lived in Battery Park City NYC over 6 years ago, this was one of our favorite restaurants that was several blocks from our place. We loved their dipping sauce for the fresh bread they serve before the entree. We would come here for special celebrations or when friends or family are visiting from out of town. We'd order a combination of pizza and pastas and eat family style. I wanted to buy the dip for the bread but they don't sell it. There is a kids playground...
My friend and I were on a trip to NYC and wanted something close to the Jewish Heritage Museum. The food was so good. Make sure to get a side of crispy rosemary potatoes. We’re still talking about how amazing they were.
