Best fusion Indian I have eaten in NYC. Most restaurants cater to typical fare or specialize in Indian regional cuisine or in street food. Many of them are good. However, they are not as innovative as Indian Accent. Kashmiri morels with the parmesan crisp is superlative, as is the lamb main dish with tiny roomali rotis. Malai makhan was my favorite dessert. I hadn't noted that only set courses and no a-la-carte will be available. It came as a bit of a shock to us. But glad we opted to stay. Food was worth the price.

Indian Accent is like no other Indian restaurant we have been to, and we have been to a lot of them. This was not just a night out, it was an experience. The dishes were exciting and innovative with a unique mosaic of flavors and textures. The service was top notch; out waitress was informed and helpful, and there was no shortage of friendly and professional staff members coming by to check on how we were doing. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic haute Indian cuisine — artfully presented and expertly served. Impeccable service with friendly, knowledgeable server. Highly recommended.

Visited as a group of seven for a milestone birthday. Overall, a mixed fine-dining experience. Appetizers and mid-courses were excellent—creative and flavorful—while the main courses lacked the same depth. The doda barfi was the standout dessert; the rest were forgettable. Service started strong, but we were switched to another server toward the end. The biggest issue came at billing: despite a 20% service charge already included, we were prompted for an additional tip, and tax was charged again. Resolving this issue took over 15 minutes and involved four staff members, including the floor manager, who did not appear fully present during the interaction, which was concerning given the nature of the issue. To ensure the owner or general manager was aware, I requested that the issue be escalated. While no discount was offered (nor was one expected), they reluctantly put the general manager on the phone. I explained the situation, and while it was resolved without adjustment, I hope management reviews this incident closely to ensure billing transparency and prevent any questionable practices going forward. Good food potential, but the billing experience overshadowed what should have been a celebratory evening.

We were blown away by the food! The chaat, goan shrimp, pork ribs, corn vadai, roast pork, and daal were exceptional! We had to stop, put down our forks, and sigh. We wish the room didn't look like an office or a Marriott. It doesn't live up to the excellence of the food. Add some color, paintings, warm lighting, and happiness.

Amazing food! It would be good to have a couple of lighter dishes on the menu but other than that can't say enough good things about the food and service.

Every time we visit NYC, we dine at Indian Accent. This time, we went twice! The meals are spectacular, interesting, and beautifully served.

We met a long time friend, and now business colleague, for lunch at his suggestion. Lunch was impressive. The staff provided great insights into the menu, helped us manage around food allergies, and delivered a great experience. The presentation was great, the food was full of flavor and meshed well, and the experience was great. I would highly recommend a visit.

The dishes have unique and quite innovative pairings. The menu is only pre-fixe, 3 or 4 courses or Chef's menu. The variety of the dishes is limited. An essential part of Indian food is communal eating, which is missed here. I would have preferred ala-carte options so we as a family could have shared dishes we like. And it's quite expensive for what you get. Will not be going back.

Wonderful, delicious array of Indian foods, the wine pairing was very special because of the personal attention we received from the sommelier! Thank you so much

Second time i reserve in that restaurant, as first time was a bliss. Overall, the food is really good. This time, pretty different ambiance: - Indicated at reservation time that it was wedding anniversary and a birthday. Ignored. - Requested a particular table. Ignored. - Quite more noisy - Light was much lower, room was darker. - Food was "heavier" than first time. - Took a cocktail: 80% of the glass was filled with a very large ice cube. Server was great. Attentive. Note: they do not indicate the spice level in the menu, the 3rd meal was very spicy and i could not finish it.

loud (sat in the back). But food not only tasty but pretty as well. The lamb with green tomatoes was excellent, actually could have done without the lamb or the tomatoes as the sauce was incredible. Had the Ghee lamb for the main course. Not only tasty, but pretty and fun to eat.
