Hosted a work event here - amazing venue but even better was the service. Our private bar was with Kevin as the bartender - an absolute gem! He was friendly, knowledgeable, quick to serve. Not only was he sensational at interacting with my guests he kept the entire area clean and organized. Highly recommend for post work events and gatherings

Great location, very helpful staff, delicious food, kind of a different experience from the usual crowded NYC restaurant. Very open with lots of space. A very good mid town lunch value and very convenient location.

Hanging out with some really cool friends and met up at Inside the Park. The food was okay. We had the Seafood Amarillo, it was a cold soup seafood medley with Calamari, Rock shrimps, Scallops, and ajo amarillo and potato croquettes (a side of breaded potatoes) and it complimented the soup well. Trying a hot dish next time. I was not really into the Amarillo cos it was a cold dish.Jay's drinks hit the spot and service was on point.Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options at the bar.

Nice decor and ambiance. I came here for a holiday soiree, and service was really good. The food was ok. But overall a nice experience.

Meh! Thought this place had a lot of potential with the location and when I first walked into the outdoor area which is beautiful, but it was a big "miss" in a lot of other areas. I guess the biggest disappointment for me was that just about every criticism that others here have pointed out in the past haven't been addressed by management/ownership which just tells me someone doesn't really care all that much about improving things here. We went to Inside Park at the height of the holiday season and the place was half empty which for NYC, is usually a telltale sign that there's an issue. With regard to service, our waiter quite literally disappeared during our entire meal and this wasn't because the restaurant was so crowded that he was busy (only 5-6 tables seated). We had to literally get out of our seats to order more drinks and ask for bread. We walked up to the bar where the waiter was hanging out and chatting it up with the bartender to ask for more water. Then when the waiter took our order, I inquire about the soup. Waiter says "no soup today"...what restaurant in the middle of winter in NYC doesn't have soup? Then then waiter suggest another dish which is kinda like a bean soup and I say "I'll take that". Waiter then says "sorry, not available today!" Weird. We then ask our waiter for some bread and he looks at us like no one has ever asked for bread before. Then just as we're about to finish our meal the bread arrives and its 3 very tiny pieces of toast. Weird. Then the check arrives and I see on the bill a $3 charge for the bread. We call the manager over (waiter again not found!) and ask about the bread charge. He tells us sorry, but bread not really part of the meal but he will take it off the bill. Felt like I was in the 1980's where there were restaurants who thought it was a good idea to charge for water and bread. The food was actually pretty good, so there was that, but just about every other aspect was a bit off. Just so easily fixed.

We love this little-known restaurant at holiday time. It is a quiet, beautiful room that is warm and welcoming, though never crowded (to say the least!) The full bar and wine list are commendable. The small menu still has plenty of good things. The "small plates" are not so small. Next time I will have two of those instead of an entree. My grilled octopus was wonderful, with cannelloni beans and plenty of greens. My salmon with lentils was wonderful. They paired well with a red Zinfandel. We will bring friends or family next time.

I have been Inside the Park at St. Barts many times over the years. The setting is beautiful as the place sits right off of Park Avenue. This is the perfect spot to visit on a nice sunny day for lunch outdoors or drinks after work. The food is solid, but the atmosphere is why you visit.

My experience here was awful. I organized an event to celebrate someone's birthday with 10 guests. I spoke with them 3 times and each time I did, I also confirmed the number of guests and that we would be dining inside. When we arrived, there was no seating available inside because they were holding a private party inside. The manager kept insisting I was wrong, so basically told me I was a liar. Never apologized and offered to buy us drinks. It was an evening when the UN assembly was in town so you could barely cross the street and it was pouring rain. I will never go back here. Ever!

Had to ask to be seated inside as in the tent, it was so noisy I couldn't even hear myself think. The food was acceptable, but not the fantastic standard I previously enjoyed here. The decor of the restaurant inside had been changed, and felt very sterile compared to the previous warm ambiance. The bathrooms were not clean. I was disappointed really, given my previous experiences.

Came here for a work lunch, was able to get a reservation 45 mins before on a Thursday! They have a delicious crispy chicken sandwich. Would highly recommended! Probably one of the best crispy chicken sandwiches Ive had. The chicken was juicy and came with a side of fries. Saw cauliflower on the menu online but they don't have it for the summer.

Great food (best sweetcorn dish ever!), great service (Kevin I think he said his name was), great atmosphere (noisy but buzzing and didn't disturb our conversation). We had a great night!
