I was so looking forward to my first order. I love whitefish and ordered the Classic Whitefish Salad on an Everything Bagel. While the whitefish was tasty, there was barely any whitefish on my sandwich. There was more tomato and cucumber (albeit fresh) than whitefish. This is not cool at all. If you are going to charge a regular downtown price for a classic whitefish on a bagel, you need to actually put whitefish on said bagel. Also, it doesn't seem like one can order spreads by the pound/tub. So I am stuck with a minimal amount of spread on my bagel at a premium price. I like to support my neighborhood places, but as a New Yorker who grew up eating various bagels, a tablespoon of whitefish on my bagel just doesn't cut it. If I were to order The Works with the Nova Lox, would it look even close to the photo presented online? It's so very disappointing that I will still most likely get my bagels from UWS or UES when in that neighborhood, instead of going to the one closer to home.

Lastly, I ordered some individual bagels too, and I'm not too impressed. Traditional bagels are made with UNBLEACHED flour for a chewy, fresh tasting result. It seems clear that these bagels are made with BLEACHED flour. It seems as though this establishment is cutting corners, and taking advantage of the fact that there is not much bagel competition in Inwood. Perhaps the owners think the residents up here are ignorant while not understanding that many of us are serious foodies or chefs, who have exposure to the rest of culinary Manhattan.

Very disappointed with today’s visit.
While driving by, I’ve noticed sign for La Colombe Coffee (one of my favorite) on the door, so I’ve decided to stop by for a coffee and a croissant. Received a stale almond croissant ($4.75!) and a water-down coffee.
Courteous and pleasant service didn’t outweigh the disappointment.

Service was 5/5 - the folks at the counter were very nice!

Unfortunately the bagel was lacking. My bagel with lox spread was $6, which isn't expensive...except for the fact that the bagel was tiny. And the amount of lox spread was seriously lacking. I've had much better, bigger, more full bagels for cheaper.

I ordered this turkey bacon, egg white, cheddar cheese on a hero. Which I believe is over priced for $14.00

Hey lady in the front, try having a more pleasant attitude like the young guy. She makes the place horrible. Her attitude stinks. If I ask for coffee sorry to pull you off your phone when you’re at WORK- make the coffee. If it’s crapt, I can mention that as a paying customer. She sucks so in turn, the place which was great for years, now sucks.

These are the best bagels I’ve had in this area. Hands down. I worked in a few of the best shops in nyc (so I love a good bagel) and since moving to the heights I haven’t found a spot with hand rolled bagels. These are hand rolled and the perfect chewy texture. My go to tester is an untoasted everything with scallion and it was delicious. I wish I lived a little closer cause I’d be there every day. They also put the perfect amount of cream cheese. $5 cash Will be back. Hopefully they deliver.

I’ve been here a number of times and I like their bagels, sandwiches, and wraps. Unfortunately, they have a tendency to get my order wrong whether it’s online, in person, or I happen to order SIGNATURE sandwiches and wraps off THEIR OWN MENU! This is particularly infuriating considering all the times I had faith they’d get a CLEAR, SIMPLE, ORDER RIGHT!

The level of incompetence at this place is astonishing! Requesting an omelette or an egg sandwich should NOT be that complicated, yet it is!

Today I asked for an egg white omelette with turkey, spinach, and avocado (in a wrap). The woman who took my order appeared to understand after repeating it back to her upon request.

While I wait, I see what appears to be my order being prepared incorrectly. Turns out it was, and I told the cook I asked for an omelette; not egg whites with turkey, spinach, and avocado. He kindly prepared it again.

The woman up front calls me to pay, and I politely let her know my order was incorrect. Not only did this rude ignoramus take no accountability whatsoever, she moronically stated she doesn’t understand the issue, egg whites only come one way, and get this; that my order is right.

The ONLY reason my order is right is because I witnessed it being done WRONG after EXPLICITLY ordering an OMELETTE! After repeated attempts at making her realize the error of her ways, I realized she was too dense to understand and just paid. She then sarcastically says, I hope you have a nice day.

Well I sure as hell hope she learns what an omelette is for the sake of anyone else who has to deal with this cretin!

DO BETTER! It’s bad enough you’re pricier than most places in the area, smh!

How are you in the food service business and incapable of PROPERLY PREPARING FOOD and providing DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE?! Make it make sense, smh!

They have a great selection of bagels and spreads. I will say though, it is a little pricey. A bagel with cream cheese spread is almost $5 and doesn’t have that much cream cheese. Service is decent depending on who’s there. Wait time is quick despite the many orders they have. There is no table or eating space inside, so be ready to take out.

Paid $7.50 for nova that wasn’t included in my order. Tried calling to report the issue and nobody picked up. Also gave me a whole wheat everything when I ordered plain whole wheat. Pretty disappointing to spend nearly $50 on a bagel delivery and have this much go wrong with no opportunity for restitution.

5 stars for flavor, 3 stars for cost. I was skeptical that a place all the way uptown would have bagel sandwiches worth the hefty $15 price tag. I was so pleasantly surprised when I tasted the sandwich and was blown away by the flavor. I got a bacon egg and cheese with spicy aioli (highly recommend the aioli). The flavor was 5/5. I do think they could stand to adjust their prices. A BEC sandwich is listed as $8.75 but then you have to pay extra for any cheese other than American and any toppings including sauces. I will be back but the cost would personally keep me from going frequently since it’s a high cost for an egg sandwich.

Speak up!

Pricey for no reason at all and not clean. The workers are having conversations right over the food and once I saw a short worker guy cough out loudly without covering his mouth. The bagel basket was about 6 inches from his face. Not thanks!!! Second and last time I go in there.
