The vegetarian miso ramen were the best I’ve ever had!
Delicious food and very friendly staff.
It was a bit annoying that they refill your water every few minutes (I prefer to have a water jug on the table so I can do it myself), but that might just be a US/NYC thing that I’m not used to as a tourist.

Got miso ramen, they were supposed to give egg but never brought it and waiter didn't check-in until end of meal.
Liked the takoyaki with mayo sauce.
Got in quick, staff nice.

They usually have 40-50 mins wait. They have a cafe/waiting area but no chairs to wait or sit on. Absolutely no thought put into courtesy for elderly people. We had a senior citizen in our party with leg issue and he had to stand the time. And when we asked for a chair for him the waiter refused to give one. How does a popular world wide known restaurant not have an extra chair?!! Absolutely trash service. Service is not just putting food on the table.

wanted to treat myself to ramen during my lunch break, ordered one bowl for $26 dollars and it didn’t even come with an egg. Three toppings including the noodle. what a rip off. stay away from this place and check out the spots around instead

Disappointed. Standards have gone down. Ramen served without egg and now you have to pay additionally. I mean authentic ramen comes with egg. 24 dollars without an egg. The yuzu 16 dollars and a very small portion. Waitress was rude and just wanted to get us out. We spoke to the cashier when we were leaving letting her know her feedback. Used to love this place. Now it's just overpriced and standards have really dropped ? only the broth tasted good. Won't be back in a hurry.

I'm not a huge ramen fan, but the ramens here were so great!
Also, the service was exceptional. We had many food restrictions, and Lynn was super patient & helpful, managed to match the best options for us!
Will definitely go there again.

Been here many a time, ramen is always top notch. Only two things to note; service has always been a bit terse, and if you are a solo diner, you will usually get the seat that has you looking at a wall the entire time, whereas the West Side Ippudo has usually been able to provide a small table or the communal table.

But the amazing ramen usually makes up for that.

We stoped by Ippudo during a rainy day for ramen. Our expectations were high, since the Ippudo by Astor Place is phenomenal. However, this place was very overwhelming and nothing compared to their other locations. I ordered a miso ramen and the portion was very small. $23 for 2 pieces of chashu and a very salty and oily broth. The chicken kara-age was also nothing special. The service is also not as welcoming as I’d like it to be. Overall, I won’t be returning to this location and I suggest looking for other ramen options around the area.
