Came here after a radio city show. No wait - probably because it was cold. The fried chicken was very juicy and was a generous portion. Ramen portions was also generous - rich and flavorful broth.

Very good ramen!
The location is pretty nice but the ramen was definitely low quality. The service was absolutely horrible. The girl with the blond/white tips has a nasty attitude. I wanted to order appetizers and she rolled her eyes and said that it takes 30 minutes for it to come out that it’s best I dont order it. I was so confused where this attitude came from that I decided to just not order appetizers at all and just get ramen. Then when it was time to ask for the check she goes “you have to wait I’m busy.” She was so incredibly rude that I tried my best to avoid speaking to her at all or asking for anything. Never coming back here!

Went in as a walk in, luckily no wait time at all. Got the akamura and the draft beer! Ippudo is my gold standard of ramen in nyc and it never disappoints! Make sure to get the Tamago in your ramen and you can’t go wrong!!

Usually packed at lunch, can take up to 20 min wait, guess ppl wfh today due to the cold. Quick service, in and out under 20 minutes. Good pork bun, could have used a bit more sauce. Excellent Akamaru ramen with ajitama, rich tonkotsu broth, chewy noodles, fragrant chashu. Wish they still have the glazed whole wing on the app menu.

The food was amazing! Not for picky children who ask for salt and pepper for a side of rice. She did not understand the cultural differences. Sadly the waiter did not understand we visited as adults and not for our children and placed his personal opinions onto our child. As a paying customer our server should have attempted to accomodate this child rather than his standards and made her feel terrible for the insult.

✨I ordered the Karaka Spicy Ramen and it was so good—rich, spicy, and really hit the spot. Just a heads-up that the egg is an add-on, but honestly, the ramen itself is excellent. Always a go-to when I’m in the city🍜✨

I haven't been to ippudo NY in about 2 years. The quality has definitely gone down. The Akamaru no longer comes with bean sprouts, egg or nori. I believe you can order it for a separate price??? Chashu is just some thin ham nothing like at ippudo in Japan and what they served previously. I am surprised ippudo japan would be ok with what is being seved here for $23 a bowl. Way overpriced and not a very good product.

Started with the bao buns, which were excellent. Soft and pillowy buns filled with an eggplant and eryngi mushroom patty, lettuce, and mayo. Simple, well balanced, and very satisfying.
For ramen, we tried the Daizu no Chikara Miso, Nirvana Classic, and Karaka.
The Nirvana Classic stood out with its mushroom infused soy milk broth. It was comforting, creamy, and rich without feeling heavy. Toppings included fried enoki, carrot, garlic oil, tofu chashu, sprouts, fried onion chips, ginger, bamboo shoots, scallions, and corn. Everything worked together beautifully.
The Daizu no Chikara Miso came with onion and tofu chashu, scallions, bamboo shoots, and corn. The miso was flavorful but not overly spicy, making it easy to enjoy even if you prefer milder heat.
The Karaka added a nice kick with its niku style spicy bolognese sauce. The spice level was enjoyable rather than overpowering, and the topping added depth and a bold contrast to the broth.
Overall, both broths were excellent. The soy milk ramen was especially comforting, while the miso leaned more savory than spicy. The spicy bolognese topping on the Karaka was a highlight.
Service was attentive and smooth, and the ambience was warm, modern, and inviting. A great spot for both a relaxed meal and a comforting bowl of ramen.

Very BAD experience with staff. Passively aggressively asked my mom why we didn't tip higher. Their customer service was not extraordinary and they didn't go above and beyond - they were basically just doing their job.
I would've gladly tipped more if they didn't try to embarrass my mom and confront her with other customers listening around.

Ippudo never disappoints
Workers were rude and just a terrible establishment. Food wasn’t great either.
We LOVED this place!! The restaurant itself is so pretty and is set up so well. It appears small from the front but they have tons of tables! We ordered the Miso Ramen and the Goma Q and the Akamaru Shinaji and all 3 were incredible. Absolutely delicious, cannot recommend this place enough.
