Me and a couple friends came for a nightcap after working an event at the stock exchange. "Nightcap" turned into more than just one because the staff was so nice, and accommodating. Nice folks, nice selection. Definitely coming back next time im down that way. Nothing better than watching the staff cut off/kick out some hammered broker guy. We totally had their back if things got squirrelly.
Should be a 4.5. I had fish and chips. OMG it was good. Light fish in a light crispy batter - no lingering heavy feeling with this meal.Service is friendly and on par with what you would expect of a classic, low-key pub. It was quiet on the night I visited, but that suited my mood. Loved the 80's mix and Billy Idol was perfect.Guinness on tap - classic pairing for fish and chips. Lots of good spirits at the bar - indulge!
Went with our whole office. They don't know how to make a Manhattan. It was like glass of Vermouth, even though I specifically asked for it light on Vermouth. Handled a huge crowd pretty well. Friendly
