Don’t eat here. I received the wrong order for my entree — but was starving after waiting for an hour and took a bite of my dish. It was then taken away and the waiter told me he was going to give my dish to another table. AFTER I TOOK A BITE. A disgrace.

Went to Isabella yesterday for dinner - based on nothing more than it being open - after we sat down we started reading the reviews while we waited for our drinks. They were not good, so we had low expectations. We can were pleasantly surprised. We ordered beer and a “apple rosé sangria”, the latter being absolutely delicious, and a margarita to share plus a side of fries. The food came relatively quick (we were the only people in the place) and was hot and fresh. We got pizza toppings (chilli flakes and Parmesan) to add if we wanted and there was ketchup and mayo. It would have been good to have some options on dips, but it was fine. The fries were thick cut, not everyone might like that but we liked them being from the UK! The pizza was lovely; but certainly not the best we’ve ever had. It was ok for $14 though! We did use the restroom which is accessible through the kitchen and has a frosted glass door (which is a bit odd), it was immaculately clean and functional, with nice hand wash and towels. Overall I would recommend for a quick pit stop, but I think there’s stiff competition in the area with many better pizza places.

Literally the best food and prices I have ever experienced in Manhattan! We got a Margherita pie, chicken parmigiana entree and a chicken piccata entree with garlic bread on the side and the bill came out to $50! And the food was fantastic! Plus a few minutes after we got seated they asked if they could move us to a different table just on the other side bc a larger group was coming and they would give us a free round of drinks for the inconvenience. We thought that was an awesome gesture. We chose apple sangrias and the drinks were great too! We were pleasantly surprised how great this restaurant turned out to be and definitely will go back, loved it!

I have eaten at Isabella a few times since September and fell in love with this sweet spot. The pasta is so incredibly fresh, I dream about it! The menu offers a nice variety of homemade Italian dishes and you can pick your own pasta and sauce combinations which is an option I appreciate having. Both the indoor and outdoor seating are as thoughtfully arranged as every detail that goes into their recipes. I have sat inside and outside and both are very comfortable with safety precautions in place to keep everyone happy and healthy during this pandemic.I used to come to this location when it was the Crooked Tree & when I heard that one of the former owners created this place as well as David’s Café next door, I knew I was in for something special and I was right! It’s such a blessing that it’s thriving amid these uncertain times with the food staying consistent and delicious every single time!Once you try it, you’ll be back for more and more because it’s just that good! Go see for yourself, you will be happy that you did and you’ll be supporting a small business where real people and their families are very thankful for the support.
