This place is an absolute gem — the kind of place that effortlessly combines romance, elegance, and a touch of modern allure. From the moment you walk in, the ambience feels intimate and sophisticated, with warm lighting, exquisite décor, and a refined energy that sets the tone for an unforgettable evening. The cocktails are artfully crafted, each one as beautiful as it is delicious, and the food is nothing short of exceptional — rich, flavorful, creative and plated with perfection. The service was gracious and attentive without ever being intrusive

Food was out of this world. Sharabi chicken tikka and nalli gosht biryani was amazing. As was the gupchup. Chef Vamshi personally came to greet us and gave us dessert on the house. Amazing. Would recommend to all non vegetarians

Absolutely outstanding experience! The staff were all incredibly warm, attentive, and professional truly top-notch service. The food was pure class, every dish was delicious, but the Sharabhi Chicken was on another level! An unforgettable dining experience and definitely a must-visit place. Highly recommended!

From start to finish, my experience at Ishq was nothing short of spectacular. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, with just the right balance of music and lighting to set the mood. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made the evening feel special.
Now, the food — absolutely divine! The Lamb Boti Karahi paired with Saffron Rice was a standout dish — tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Each bite was pure perfection. I also had the Begum Blush, a light and refreshing cocktail that complemented the meal beautifully.
The appetizers were equally impressive — the Tiger Prawns and Oysters were fresh, delicious, and bursting with flavor. Every dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better than it looked.
Overall, 10/10 experience across the board: ambiance, music, service, and most importantly, the food. I’d recommend Ishq to everyone looking for an elevated dining experience — I’ll definitely be back!

Went @Ishq today. Disgusting experience. Very bad food, slow service. The height of the tables is also low- not as per the dinings standards. We ordered 5 dishes, none had even the basic taste - talking of Michelin level is a far off thing!

Some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had, up there with any other NYC or London Indian food we have had. Cocktails also inventive and delicious.

The food at Ishq was good, but the experience was disappointing. I went during Restaurant Week, only to find out after being seated that the special menu isn’t offered on Saturdays—something that isn’t mentioned anywhere on their website or the Restaurant Week site. That really should be made clear upfront!
Service was a bit chaotic. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks, and we were told it was because there’s only one bartender. Not ideal for a busy evening.
We also ran into an issue with drinks—we ordered Black Label ($17), but they were out. The server offered to switch it with Blue Label, but didn’t mention it was $55. I only realized when I asked to see the menu. That kind of price difference should definitely be communicated before substituting. (probably common knowledge but I wasn’t aware of the difference) Fortunately, I asked for the menu so didn’t end up going with the substitution.
Great food, but too many service missteps to overlook.
