The food at Ishq was good, but the experience was disappointing. I went during Restaurant Week, only to find out after being seated that the special menu isn’t offered on Saturdays—something that isn’t mentioned anywhere on their website or the Restaurant Week site. That really should be made clear upfront!
Service was a bit chaotic. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks, and we were told it was because there’s only one bartender. Not ideal for a busy evening.
We also ran into an issue with drinks—we ordered Black Label ($17), but they were out. The server offered to switch it with Blue Label, but didn’t mention it was $55. I only realized when I asked to see the menu. That kind of price difference should definitely be communicated before substituting. (probably common knowledge but I wasn’t aware of the difference) Fortunately, I asked for the menu so didn’t end up going with the substitution.

Went to Ishq on a Friday night at 10 PM. We made a reservation and we're running late but they were very welcoming nevertheless. The food was really tasty and we loved the jalebi Chaat, Andhra chilli gobhi and the paneer laung latta. The kala jamun tart was sweet but not too sweet! Overall we loved the placed!
Everything was so delicious and the wonderful friendly and welcoming staff were so kind! Highly recommend checking Ishq out!

Lamb boti is up there, would also highly recommend the lamb chops. Paratha and naan are very fresh as well. In terms of atmosphere, this is great in the evenings for dates, special occasions, or family get togethers. Service is incredible and staff are very kind.
