Cool Australian restaurant with amazing espresso martini flights! Very warm, inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food.Service: Ask for Jose—he’s rolo from Bogotá, and is really friendly.Food: The Brussel sprouts, halloumi, fish sando, fish and chips, lamb, and chicken parm were all excellent. We topped dinner off with the a floral affogato and a date cake, both which were ?Drink: Definitely recommend the flights of three different varieties of espresso martinis ☕️? —one of which is made with olive oil(!) for $25 (and you can add on an regular espresso martini for $10 extra).Value: Despite being located in a hotel, it’s not crazy outrageously priced. A good value, I’d say!I wish I took pictures, but the other reviews are pretty spot on ?

This restaurant brings the vibrant flavors of Australia to the bustling streets of NYC.But what truly stole the show for me was their Italian-inspired Espresso Martini – an absolute delight for the senses! Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, it's a true standout.

NOT good! I ordered a salad and it came without half of the ingredients listed - it was literally just lettuce and pickled onion. When we asked the chef about it, they said since they ran out of ingredients they just served it like that! Not

I dined here last night. Service was great; hostess and servers were prompt and friendly. The vibe was good—a bit loud but a nice ambience, though they could use another restroom—seemed to only have one single unisex option so it was busy and there were often people waiting—it was directly behind our table. They offered us a free espresso martini flight because apparently they had made an extra and we had already ordered two individual martinis—a nice gesture. Sadly—the food was a disappointment. Lack of flavor and nothing remarkable. Fish and chips entree —one piece of fish and basic fries. Burger was well cooked but again, needed more seasoning or something. I asked for mine without the bun, and it also arrived without the promised kimchi which would have helped. The only thing we all enjoyed were the Brussels Sprouts. But really, nothing to distinguish this fare as Australian versions of familiar dishes.

I also ordered the Spring Fling saladI still can’t get over that the server brought our salads half naked. I have never seen that at a restaurant. Says a lot of the chef and how they might not have pride with other things coming from their kitchen. The service wasn’t good but at least they were nice I guess. The Brussel sprouts were really good but get them to go.

Inspired by Australia's diverse culinary influences and love for quality ingredients, Isla and Co. features dishes like Kangaroo Skewers, Spicy Shrimp Vodka Rigatoni, and signature cocktails such as the Espresso Martini Flight. They prioritize a friendly and engaging atmosphere, with a beverage program highlighting natural wines, craft beers, and unique cocktails. Their coffee program, influenced by Melbourne's coffee culture, offers specialty blends roasted in Denver.Espresso Martini is the cocktail of the month this March at Isla and Co. Crowned as the greatest cocktail in the world, espresso martini will be celebrated all month where you can enjoy a rotation of signature Espresso Martinis. Delight in the classic Original Espresso Martini made with vodka, Mr. Black, house-roasted espresso and demerara, followed by the tempting Olive Temptation made with Starward Australian whiskey, the Scarlett Rose with tequila reposado and the Coco Devine, made with cocoa infused rum. Some of the standouts from the menu include Kangaroo Tucker (traditional Australian rubbed Kangaroo skewered over herbed tahini, marinated cucumbers, and pickled onions) and Spicy Prawns Vodka Rigaton (pomodoro, heavy cream, Calabrian chilis with prawns)Other dishes that stood out were Braised Lamb Shoulder (wilted greens, crispy fingerlings, zhoug) and Fish and Chips (Atlantic cod, citrus tartar sauce, and crispy fries)

Long time friends came to big Apple to visit so took them for a brunch here. Food is mediocre, not too many options and it took so long to wait on the food to be served. Service is the deal breaker, one waiter, tall one, was even rushing us to pay for the bill and leave by checking our table very frequently, very annoying.

What a gem of a find in Midtown--only wish I knew about it sooner. Met four friends here for brunch, and it was delightful. Juan was a lovely server, so welcoming. Food was great. I had the eggs Benedict. Martini was beautiful. Not overstimulating and loud like many places midday on a weekend are. Highly recommend!

Pros:-they accommodated a last-minute addition to our party which was nice (though we had to wait an extra 30 min)-great drinks and foodCons:-service was terrible (no water given (we had to ask) and we waited 35 minutes for drinks without a second visit to our table)-no apology or acknowledgement of the bad serviceUPDATE:Adam, the GM of Isla & Co., reached out to me and offered to provide a compensated meal whenever I wanted to come back in. I decided to give them a second chance and they did not disappoint! The service was far better and our food and drinks were as delicious as they were the first time. We would recommend to friends and will definitely be back ourselves!

Despite the hotel setting, this restaurant impresses with delicious food! The only downside? Their signature charred octopus is only available after 5pm. So plan your visit accordingly to savor this must-try dish alongside their other culinary delights.

I went solo for a long post day work day and had the best experience. I had the spicy shrimp pasta and it was to die for. The espresso martini flights had all the girls dying, of course I had to partake. Enrique was my server and Victor was whipping up the best drinks. These gentleman were so kind to keep me company and make conversation. The music was on point, the ambience was moody & lovely. I would highly recommend!
