If I could give this pizza shop zero stars I would. I went into the shop with my son and ordered one regular slice and one pepperoni slice. The regular slice of pizza tasted as if the cheese was expired and the pepperoni was extremely burnt along with the crust making it very unenjoyable to eat. We asked for a refund to a young man who appears to be the son the of the owner and was very condescending to my son and I saying word for word “You’ve never tasted a real slice of pizza before” on top of not giving me a refund. Such a disgrace, there are plenty of other amazing pizza shops in the city. Avoid this one at all cost!

Delish heros and now they have a lunch specials including a hero and soda for 9.99
I upgraded this review for 2 reasons. My father comes from their country. and he loved to see business thrive from persons of his place of birth. 2nd, as business owners, we must have acceptance of diversity, and the son of this business DOES that.. He gives great service and has an astronomical memory of large orders. He is welcoming ... The FOOD IS AMAZING... KIDS LOVE IT. That's why I take time to go after their gym.. my dad would have loved the taste.. beautiful artwork on the wall ..

I have frequented Italian Village numerous times. There is one thing Italian Village Pizza Restaurant has that many other pizza shops do not have is consistency. The quality and taste of their pizza is out of this world. When they put a cold slice in the oven to serve to you tastes brand new. The best pizza shop in the Upper East Side.

My daughter just moved to NYC so we stopped here for a slice after setting up her apartment. BIG MISTAKE! The pizza was worse than what I can get in my South Florida suburb. The sauce was absurdly sweet and until I added some oregano and garlic powder, the slice had no flavor whatsoever. How does a pizza place like this stay in business in NYC when there are so many better options nearby?

Great pizza and food and absolutely the best eggplant Parmesan around. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food, love Rosie & Dominick. No rodents, no dirty mops, very angry person who said this. Love this place.
Please be aware they are not up to standard health codes. They have dirty mops in the men's and ladies rooms.I saw a few mice running through the dining room as 78th St is full of rodents.I would advise not to eat here.
