It is a neighborhood gem nestled on a side street on the UES. This is our go to spot for Italian food on the UES. The service is wonderful, prices aren't over the top and the food is amazing. If you don't see a dish on the menu, they will make it for you (as long as they have the ingredients). We never had a bad meal!
Italianissimo is a standout, reliable neighborhood place where I know the staff and they know me. It's unusually friendly and quiet, and the food is uniformly excellent. It's my go-to place.
This cozy, charming restaurant had both great food and excellent staff and I will be going back with my girlfriend for another dinner date. I recommend anyone looking for quality Italian fare to give this place a visit.
