First time here and we had a great time. The sashimi was very fresh and good quality, which I would expect for the price. The pork belly was amazing and will probably be the reason I return in the future. Service was very nice and attentive. It doesn't look like much but it doesn't need to. Seems like a fun chill place. We were there pretty early on a week day so I would assume its a bit louder / more hectic at more peak drinking times.
We had first been to Izakaya years ago before we moved to New York City and have been wanting to get back ever since. Last week stars aligned for us to book a sitter and get a reservation (super easy via Resy). We loved the ramen clam vongole, addicting cucumbers and cabbage, yakiniku, and yellowtail sashimi. The service staff was attentive and timely without being overbearing or too friendly. Very well balanced!
On the other hand, the menu is a bit unbalanced, offering mostly fried and rich foods. That being said, we enjoyed most of what we ordered, except for the deep fried miso eggplant.
