Absolutely amazing! The wasabi fries are off the charts, steamed pork buns are melt in your mouth, and spicy tuna roll was perfection. Service was fabulous. Little gem that should be a must stop for those on the Lower East Side. Can't wait to go back...might be tomorrow

Went here after a recommendation from a friend of mine who is in the run club they sponsor. The chilled ramen had a tomato soup base and somewhat spicy from the jalapeños and peppers. Really tasty and refreshing on a summer evening. Would definitely recommend this place.
Instant noodles soup and texture, don’t understand the ratings, I know Americans tend to have messed-up taste on ramen and give high ratings for services, but honestly the service here isn’t good either. Every food here is pretty crap. And to answer the comment about “instant ramen soup”, I mean the miso tonkotsu broth is definitely not accurate description, the broth tastes nothing like tonkotsu or miso, anyway just to add my credibility, I lived in Japan for over 5 years and had ramen at least once a week in different restaurants in Japan and would say I’ve only had this type of broth in the states… and it is not just in this restaurant but it’s universal phenomenon. I don’t understand why Americans think this is miso or tonkotsu. But if you guys like it, I’m fine, just head-up for people looking for authentic broth, it’s not the place for u…

Good vibes, good food, great service. The garlic edamame is to die for. Had variety skewers which were all tasty. The katsu was delish. The bloozy yuzu slushy hit the spot.

Shake French fries/roasted bird/fried chicken are delicious and fresh
The curry rice is very average. The meat wrapped in sauce feels like it has been soaked for a long time and is no longer crispy. The curry is not very fragrant either.

Solid food but I feel like their imported Japanese beer selection is quite limited.

Yes, take me there anytime! Biggest bai buns I’ve ever had. Skewers are a must. Also a nice selection of Japanese beers and whiskeys. I’m stuffed.

Such a great spot for a fun night out! It’s been a while since I’ve done an izakaya and it was a pretty solid hit in terms of food. Not a huge list of skewers but everything they had, they did well. Started with the chile edamame and it was some of the best I’ve had in the past year. The chicken and pork belly skewers were also excellent and their kaarage was fire! But most impressive is their very extensive selection of Japanese craft beers! I’ll be back!

The place sells very traditional Japanese food, many of their dishes were new to me. I ordered a chicken curry and a black ramen, everything was delicious. However, the place is not that nice, but it is definitely a restaurant to eat Japanese food!
