Very bad attention, if they can they always charge you more. The prices are high, and you never know what each thing is getting. LOUSY!!!!

This was my go-to deli for almost two years. No one made a better sandwich in Harlem. However, recently they increased their prices 30% and decreased the quality of their sandwiches significantly. I pass 3 other bodegas to walk to this place. Unfortunately today will be my last time. Too many repeat disappointments here to justify going back. Such a shame.

This place served as a staple and "home away from home" for us during our visit here. It was right around the corner and open 24/7 and pretty much had everything we needed and was fairly priced for New York. However, the star is Alfred/Alford- he was a lot of fun and extremely enjoyable to converse with and made us the best sandwiches we've ever had, hands down. We were able to customize and order whatever we wanted on it, and he had his own great suggestions. Food was ready very quickly and it was obvious he tries to put a lot of heart into what he does, which can be very hard during those slow, early AM/late night hours. Seriously, I'm still dreaming about those sandwiches- could eat them every day!
