The food is gentrification american soul food. I prefer Charles Pan Fried Chicken or Amy Ruth's or any other black restaurant or cooking my own. It's like a buffet style so you have many choices but limited flavor & seasoning. They can use a little salt and pepper it ain't gon' hurt much. The atmosphere is nice but I wasn't impressed. Did I ever finish my food? Nope
Will I go there again? Absolutely not
But dont listen to me you do you and see what you like because everybody tastebuds is different
The best past was the veggies and fruit thats it. I halfway enjoyed that it wasn't even that fresh.
Partially it has everything to do with timing and what time you go as well. Please take that into consideration as well.

This soul-food, buffet-style spot will have you coming back again and again. Everything you crave is here, and everything is good. From the short ribs and oxtails to the fried chicken and more, the flavors are authentic and comforting.

The sides are just as delicious, and the best part is you set your own price based on how much food you put on your plate. I love grabbing a quick lunch and taking it to the park to enjoy. And let’s not forget the desserts — the banana pudding tastes just like grandma used to make.

This restaurant surpasses every alternative. I noticed how the setting enhanced my meal. The restaurant lets each dish represent their standards. Staff members demonstrate both expertise and generous spirits. Based on my visits, this place impresses every time.

I appreciate the consistency of this restaurant. It's a self-serve buffet-style setup and you pay by the pound.

The meats were tasty and filling. I went for the fish and fried chicken each time I ate here. The fruit was fresh and enticing and the salad options were decent. I sat in the back and watched the cooking show they had on the screens. Not all items were equally appealing but they had a decent variety. The staff was friendly.

I can see this being a great community spot. Choose your items strategically and have a filling meal for $20 or less.
