I was trying to get to my hotel during the Macys parade. This business blocks off the public sidewalk and acts like you need a special badge to even pass through. They tried to tell me I wasn’t allowed to walk through to get to my hotel 50 feet away. Instead they argued that I had to walk around the entire city block carrying my daughter.
Terribly inconsiderate business trying to profit off public walkways.

The interior of this restaurant is adorable! The plants everywhere and natural finishes are gorgeous! The food and service match it as well. I've only ever been there for breakfast or brunch, but highly recommend!

There's greenery festooning every corner of Jams; baby squash on the tables, sparrows nesting in the walls outside. Inside, a calm oasis, where the staff are friendly and the food ambrosial. Lobster Benedict washed down with a Bellini? Yes please. Brunch of champions.

Horrible customer service. We came in around 10:45 Sunday morning for breakfast and the hostess wouldn’t even put our names down to wait. Both our party and the party before us were told it was a 45+ minute wait and didn’t put our info down. The place looked cute but you couldn’t even get in to eat. So disappointing.

Walked in on a Saturday at lunch time and our party of 5 was able to sit at the bar! The bartenders were great, loved the music & the wagyu burger was really good to split with another girl friend!

It's a regular go-to for business breakfast meetings. Waiter wasn't very attentive this time. We had to flag someone down to get our check. Not sure it was a staffing issue since they were all congregated in kitchen area, so more of an issue with attentiveness to customers.
Brunch with friends, the lobster benedict really made my day.

When we arrived at the reservation time we were told they only have those thin tiny high top table available. There are couple empty regular tables around - front desk insisted that regular tables are only for hotel guests which I do not think is true.

I have been a customer since the place opened in the hotel and I have seen it really go downhill in recent years. Its too bad. I have recommended the place in the past only to have friends tell me it was not good. Not sure if Mr. Waxman is reading or watching, but if hes not, he should. Its really too bad b/c his Barbutto downtown is still fantastic, even after the move to the new place. Not sure whats going on here, maybe the place caught a case of "Hotel Restaurant".. My next visit is unclear (if)...
