Amazing food 10/10 vibes were immaculate music was great as well only con it was a bit hot in the restaurant other than that I would definitely come back
Very loud! Very busy. Polite service, that disappeared after serving. Food was good, but not as good as I recall. As someone that's visited many times a couple years ago I'm not crazy about the vibe shift. Many might enjoy it. The party atmosphere was a bit over the top for me. Could have done without the steel drums. I just wanted a nice meal not a party.
The food was delicious and authentic. The service was personable and timely. The music and decor are perfectly married to create the mood and atmosphere. My only cons are the tight seating, and the restroom is in dire need of a renovation. Otherwise, Jasmines' is in our “Top 10” rotation.
It was my first time trying your restaurant, and I brought my mom there for her birthday. 4/18. The Caribbean vibes were spot on, the music, the food (amazing), the drinks, the servers, wait time and kindness we received was outstanding. My mom throughly enjoyed herself, keep up the great work! I will definitely return with friends!
After having enjoyed visiting the restaurant a couple of times, I'll never go again. We had a 6pm reservation and got a text at 5:53pm that our table was ready with a 15-minute grace period. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:05pm. After waiting until 6:16pm, we were told that others had been seated, we were too early for our table (not), and would have to wait. After sharing our dismay with the owner, we left. I never write negative reviews, but we were treated unfairly. Beware. Especially if you have a Broadway show to catch.
Place is cute! The chicken empanadas and the rice and peas were good. The jerk chicken/wings did not taste jerk. More so baked chicken with a gravy on top. We didn't even finish the food. My fiancé wanted to complain but we immediately paid the bill and just left. We were disappointed as this spot was apart of places we wanted to try coming from Chicago for my birthday. Most likely will not return.
A great go to pre-theatre on restaurant row . The drinks are solid and the food is always very tasty. Servers are attentive.
Very centrally located eatery serving some amazing Caribbean food.
Tried the Cocunut Shrimp appetizer and had the Curry chicken and Shrimp Pasta for mains. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the creamy pasta. The place is tiny and does get a little loud. Will probably come back again.

The food and service at Jasmine’s is 5 stars! The oxtail definitely falls off the bone and it’s my go to dish whenever I eat here. I’ve already recommended to my friends and family.

The worst experience of my life..I went to show support only to be served burnt jerk chicken after waiting on over 40ty minutes to eat because of one waitress serving over 50ty people..After I complain to the manager that the chicken was top burnt he said that's how they make their jerk chicken..he then look into my face and said he serve me 3 pieces of chicken and I already ate two. Which was a lie..for evidence I only got two pieces and tried to ear one..but kept picking off bitter burn areas..he didn't apologize or care..eventually they gave me something else to eat. I will never go back there anc I am mad I even went to show support. I definitely want tp support black owned businesses..but this really top the cake. Never in my life I have heard a manager said you don't deserve to return a taste bad good because you already start eating.. the ambiance is great and the man who played the steel drum was dope. I hope this review will make them do better on customer service.

Jasmine’s Caribbean is a laid back casual spot located right off Broadway. Perfect if you want some bites before or after a show, or if you just want to catch a vibe with some good eats.
Jerk Chicken Wings - One thing about me, I love spice, so when the waitress said are you sure, I said bring it on. It definitely had that kick I was looking for. Devoured I was looking for.
Peppa Shrimp - Just like the wings, nice and spicy. I was more than happy with these and their house made Pepper sauce.
Lobster Tail - I knew I wanted to Surf and just look at that thing. Absolutely massive, well cooked, and so tasty. This did not disappoint.
Jazzy Pasta - The pasta had some really nice ratios and I enjoyed a lot. But let me tell you now, when I added some of the Oxtails to this, it took this dish to another level. I HIGHLY recommend that you try it as well!
Oxtail - Slow-cooked, and savory, fall off the bone…this is exactly what their menu said, and they didn’t tell a lie. I would eat this everyday if I could. I wanted to try it with rice, but I only have one stomach. That said, the combination with the pasta with amazing.
Bread Pudding - This was the dessert I was looking. The soft, warm bread pudding was lathered with syrup and the vanilla ice cream was a perfect compliment.
I thoroughly enjoyed Jasmine’s. Some people think that it’s impossible to find good Caribbean food outside of Harlem, but I suggest they give this spot a shot. There is a lot more I want to try in this menu, so I’ll see about that next time. Happy Eating!

Really kind service and cool atmosphere.
Food wise, appetizers were very pricey for the serving size though.
The codfish fritters ($15) only came with 2 bite sized fritters and the coconut shrimp appetizer ($19) was 4-5 bite sized pieces.
$7+ per bite is crazy for a casual spot (I would only knowingly pay that for fine dining).
