We celebrated my mom's 75th birthday at Jaz Indian Cusine. The owner and the staff was amazing. Everything we ordered was amazing. I think the fresh naan and lemon rice were probably some of the best we have ever had. I would highly recommend Jaz Indian Cuisine to anyone who wants amazing food, atmosphere sphere and service. This is definitely a gem in NYC.

Overall food was very delicious. I wish we were informed of the pre fix lunch because that would have been more appropriate for my friends' & my budget (we had already come in notifying about a groupon). $20 for the baby lamb appetizer for only two pieces for two people to share when the main dish is $30? I guess it would have just been nice to know that wouldn't be enough to share as one appetizer for two people. I asked for the chettinad but ended up with a completely different dish; I was too hungry to ask to have it switched as it ended up smelling so good that I gave it a shot and I was pleasantly surprised. Just wish I knew what I ate. Very much enjoyed the yogurt drink. I'd come back

Calm, quiet elegant atmosphere unlike most Indian restaurants. The food is extraordinary, and includes things I have not seen on other menus. Fantastic place, will definitely come back!
Food was great. And I don't generally like Indian food but my son does. So we went there for a treat for him. I actually liked the food. A lot. Service excellent. Truly nice people. I was impressed.

All the dishes were delicate and refined, but also comforting and un-pretentious -- high-quality versions of familiar favorites. Similarly the atmosphere was very welcoming. Nice enough to take your parents, relaxed enough to go a random Sunday night. Service was friendly and quick. We'll be excited to return and explore the extensive menu.

JAZ the owner was behind the bar looking beautiful and mixing some delicious cocktails. Sajit the maitre d' took care of us as well as a waiter and a busboy. Overall a wonderful experience for our friend who had never been to this country before.
