Great atmosphere, lovely selection of cocktails!

Cute cocktail bar tucked in the UES with some brilliant decor, cozy atmosphere, and well-made (albeit a bit pricy) cocktails. The space itself is a bit tight so depending on when you try to go will vary if you are able to be seated or not. $20 a cocktail. 4.25/5 stars as a night spot.

I visited this place last month with a friend. At first impression, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and atmosphere. However, my interaction with Chris, the bartender, drastically changed my perspective. My friend ordered a drink, and I requested water, not feeling like drinking just yet. Upon asking for more water, Chris, whom we nicknamed 'the White Fox', abruptly informed me, 'I have a family to feed, so unless you'll order a drink, this will have to be your last one tonight.' I was shocked by this response. I then requested to speak with the manager, a man wearing glasses who seemed to be in charge, and he stated, 'I always back up my bartenders,' before asking me to leave. Needless to say, I will not be returning due to the atrocious customer service, which is unfortunate because the place has a really nice vibe. Replacing 'the White Fox' with a more pleasant bartender could significantly improve the experience.

One of the best cocktail bars in the UES. The vibes, decor and service are next level. Lots of selection of drinks to choose from. Lively environment with a live DJ tucked in the corner. So glad i discovered this spot.

A transplant and an ode to employees only. I was hopeful but with it being UES crowd was pretty homogeneous Yorkville sports bar crowd. I was called out publicly by the bar tender when I was just trying to see how much snow was outside, rather than neglecting my tab. What an embarrassing moment. 3 drinks $60 no

A few major issues that make it hard to enjoy your time at Jeremy's. #1: the music is so loud that you can't hear the person/people you're with. They can't lower it a little bit so it's still pumping but you can actually enjoy catching up with friends or going on a date? #2: the chairs are BEYOND uncomfortable. They're stools that are the wrong height for the bar. Left with cramps all down my back. #3: they have a bouncer outside lol...like it's 1999 and we're in Sex And The City. #4: I'm pretty sure they're out of compliance with ADA, which i'm sure is illegal. If you walk with a cane, need a chair with a back, etc...forget about it. I asked to sit at a chair/table and they said that it was reserved for parties of 4 or more. So if a person (me) with a disability comes in and needs space, they have to leave? I'm pretty sure it's illegal. But anyway, couldn't hear a thing my friend was saying, so it didn't really matter! Bad experience. Much better bars out there that aren't trying so hard and are inclusive to all people, not just the able-bodied.

It was early November when I stumbled into Jeremy’s. I was in a truly bizarre situation with a lady for the better part of a year and it had ended. She always suggested this place, we never got to go, so I went without her. It was a Thursday evening and it was popping. I managed to pull up a spot at the bar and kept to myself reading a short story collection of truly demented trashy paraphernalia. I ordered the burger and fries and they did not disappoint. The German Pilsner was quite good as well. The bartender was attentive and not the least bit intrusive. I shall return.

This cozy cocktail bar impresses with its thoughtful design. While the drinks are top-notch, they come at a premium for the neighborhood. The basic food offerings do the job. A charming spot for a special night out, but be prepared for the bill.

Great spot, we tried two of the mocktails and they were good. Pricing is good. Interior is modern sleek but still romantic.
