Jerk House Caribbean Restaurant

It deadbutt(only nyers gone get it) hurts me to even put this review cause I been going here since they basically open a few years back I was excited to see a new carribean spot in Harlem. I then left for 3 years & came back to ya felling off BADDDLYY. The two ladies that were there in the beginning, gave BEAUTIFUL SERVICE, one had glasses and was a taller woman. I don't know where she went or the OG staff but ya need them back! Cause on the customer service end is mid now.
NOW TO THE FOOD....
I'm just hoping it was just ya jerk chicken and the oxtails here are still fire(praying they're) cause this jerk chicken tasted CRAZY. It tasted like it was left in water or something, had a slight smell to it, it didn't even smell like the jerk chicken ya had when ya first open or JERK CHICKEN AT ALL tbh. Not even spicy I wanted to add hot sauce to it and for the first time ever I had to add my own seasoning salt just to add flavor. The rice wasn't fluffy like it usually be, I had to spit out rice a few times thinking it was small pieces of the bone sighs ... we don't have too many good carribean spots in Harlem please get it back to the old days cause this was a waste of $13 ngl . Very disappointed

My family and I went to visit my daughter in NY at college then we decided to go and eat some real Jamaican food. We came across Jerk House on Instagram so we decided to go and take a look. The food was very tasty, staff was friendly, ambience was great. I got the curry goat with rice and peas which was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also tried the Mac and cheese, jerk pork and stew chicken which was another hit. I will definitely be going back with my family. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed! ??

Cashier is very rude and passive aggressive and you better hope she feels like she like you becuase she will up-charge you.

Last week I paid 16 dollars for a medium meal with wings and mac and cheese.

My coworker checked the cashier for snatching her card out her hand.

This week with the same cashier I got a small fried chicken and mac and cheese . This lady proceeds to chop the chicken in half and give me a small piece ok cool. Why am I paying 16 dollars for the same thing in a small and then proceeded to have an attitude when I asked for a reciept. Food is good and all but not for that treatment I'm good.

First time trying this location and I must say it’s a whole vibe. Food was amazing and the customer service was top tier! I ordered the jerk pork and jerk chicken and it was so delicious, tender, and the right amount of heat. Definitely will be going again.

I wanted something to eat so I decided to go here…. Best choice I made ! Everything was great. The service was great, food amazing. The atmosphere was nice perfect great music and everything. Definitely recommend for everyone to try !!!! I’m coming back!

Ordered Large Jerk salmon and jerk wings via Ubereats. What I received was a medium size jerk salmon meal and fried wings with chili sauce on it . Pulled a fast one.

Soggy & wet Jerk chicken, not crispy and crunchy like real jerk should be. Huge dissapointment. This is the 2nd time this happened.

Great food for a great price!

I was starving and had to stop in after getting my locs washed and retwisted. I bought the jerk chicken because i thought they didn't have jerk pork and i was wrong. They did have jerk pork with crispy skin on the outside, tender and juicy insides topped with extra jerk sauce for a kick! I sat in the park across the street and absolutely devoured my meal. Definitely stop by and check them out ❤️ don't forget to tip !
