This review is specifically for the Washington Heights location of Jersey Mike’s Subs.
This is only my second time ever ordering from Jersey Mike’s, and the reason it took years for me to try again is because the same issue happened the first time. I ignored my better judgment, gave this location another chance, and they repeated the exact same mistake.
I clearly selected mayonnaise on my order. What arrived was a large sandwich with no mayonnaise at all. That is not a preference issue. It is a basic order accuracy issue. Anyone who eats these sandwiches knows that missing mayo completely changes the food. This was not “light mayo.” It was none.
I also ordered one specific bag of chips and was sent a completely different one, again with no communication and no explanation.
This is what concerns me most: this location appears to pick and choose which parts of an order to follow. When that happens twice, years apart, it is no longer a mistake. It is a process problem.
And before management responds with an apology or a generic “we’re sorry, please contact us” message, do not dismiss this review. No one goes out of their way to find a business page, log in, and leave a detailed review like this unless they are genuinely frustrated. I am not exaggerating. I am not confused. I am describing exactly what was delivered.
If you are ordering from the Washington Heights Jersey Mike’s and expect your order to be read and followed as submitted, I strongly recommend reconsidering. I gave this location two chances. I promise, there will not be a third!

Great food but the one employee that works the afternoon shift on weekdays needs to be replaced. Time and time again they get my order incorrect and I know for a fact it doesn't take a genius to make these things. It's always same person botching my orders. It's a shame because the sandwiches are really good.

On Tuesday, December 2nd, at 1:30 p.m., my daughter placed an order at your store located at 4055 Broadway. Unfortunately, the entire order was incorrect. When she called the store to request a refund, the employee hung up on her. She tried calling back to speak with a supervisor, but the call disconnected again. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the disrespect we encountered. If this is how you run your business, we will not be placing any future orders with you. The first sandwich was supposed to be turkey with provolone cheese on rosemary bread, with mayo, oil, vinegar, banana peppers, and lettuce. Instead, it was on white bread, with no mayo, banana peppers, or lettuce. The second sandwich was meant to be turkey and provolone on white bread with oil, vinegar, mayo, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. However, it was made on rosemary bread. I am requesting a full refund and an apology from your employees for the mistakes they made. I understand that mistakes happen, but the rudeness of your staff was unacceptable.
I would never recommend anyone to order from this location. But I will never order from any Jersey Mikes.

I don’t ever leave reviews but this location truly SUCKS! It’s unfortunate that this is the closest Jersey Mikes to me. Hopefully this location is shut down at some point. You’re almost always guaranteed some sort of passive aggressive version of customer service, the place is kept surprisingly dirty at night, and you cannot currently get a hot sub. Don’t waste your time or money on this location.

By far the worst jersey mikes location I’ve ever visited. Staff is just inadequate. Super slow and understaffed. Always long wait times.
Stopped bothering with the subs here. Ever since it was purchased by a private equity firm, subs and sandwiches has decreased in size and fillings. It is trying to skimp on its previous offerings to maximize profit. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I came here to pick up an order with my boyfriend. His order came out quickly, and they even stepped out to give him his order. I waited over 15 minutes for my order, only to see in the receipt it was made literally 2 minutes after his. The women in the front were mostly standing around, one was even looking at her phone for the majority of the time, and were even giggling together at some point. When their manager questioned for my order, that was when they pretended to look around, only to pick up my order that was sitting there for over 15 minutes. Neither my boyfriend or I are ever coming back to such a place that treats women like that. What was even more disappointing was that it was a staff of mostly women.
