My boyfriend and I needed to find a close by pizza place for a comedy show in the upper east side. We chose Jet’s and honestly wish we didn’t. The staff was friendly but pizza’s were made to order which is really weird for a NYC pizzeria so we had to wait 10 minutes for our pizza. We ordered Detroit style pizza and it was one of the worst pizza’s I’ve had in NYC, it did not live up to the standards. There was hardly any cheese on the pizza and it just tasted like I was eating bread and tomato sauce and was overbearingly hot. There were no bathrooms either. Would not come back to this place ever. Also way overpriced.

Here it is.. Chain / Franchise Pizza takeout lovers - Make way Dominos, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Papa Johns - Jet has 4+ and growing, streamlined takeout locations ..and is good. Fun upbeat friendly place - nice people- value priced deals - but quality is up. Crispy, Crispy crust - a few styles.. Calzones with multiple fillings.. shown on the sign, looking a bit smaller and neater than your average pizza place.. but want to try! Detroit style pizza claimed on the sign, round or square - Bring it! Predicting this newer baby chain will grow successfully and should. It should be up there with the other chains. Need a larger square pie option or clearer choice.. Got a small 4 slice square pizza and split it in the car. Brought two of the semi small slices back to the house.. and it was liked there also. 3 out of 3 thumbs up. Need a big Jumbo pie option.. if its there will try it next time.

Not a wimpy Brooklyn style pizza. No bland saggy crust. No inch and a half of inedible unflavored crust around the edges.This is good pizza. The whole crust is edible. The sauce is loaded with flavor. Plenty of toppings.p.s. Order your pizza with the turbo crust. And plenty of napkins.

I come from big corporate working for a $45B company and I continue to see the finest most customer focused individuals at this location thus feel compelled to write my experience.I would love to highlight my most recent experience with TAJINA ( hope I spelled this correct) Given I order frequently from this location, I was sent a 40% coupon. Was not sure how to order and what the terms were. Went through a number of conversations and it was TAJINA that walked me through the process and I eventually ordered my PERFECT PIZZA. Not only did I get what I ordered but TAJINA called me to ensure my order was perfect and she indicated she personally handled everything. Likewise she threw in a cookie. EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE TO THE MAX ( GUYS/GALS ASK FOR TAJINA)In this time of this economic downturn we dont always get the best service. Jets Pizza has the highest level of personnel to deliver the BEST experience. Hats off to TAJINA!! I will absolutely order again from this location.Appreciation for Jets attention to detail!! In my opinion, they've really gone downhill in the customer service department over the last few months. I feel bad because they constantly seem understaffed? They probably know my name because I order the same thing a few times a month. Small 4 corner cheese pie with a side of their awesome ranch. They sent coupons that expire Nov 15th and I've tried to redeem it online so many times via their website and it glitches and never takes the promo codes.They even sent me a Jets VIP card and I'm never ever able to redeem anything. Have had friends try as well. Text to order, calling to order, ordering via website directly but always just divert to DoorDash because it's never glitchy. Yesterday was it for me unfortunately. Called a few times and the poor employee just sounded absolutely swamped every time. Not his fault! Poor management? Poor working conditions to retain employees? All of this is speculation of course but it's costing them regular business now. In addition - I'd say about half the time I order delivery the forgot the ranch or get the order wrong or the pizza is way undercooked than normal. One time I called because my Greek salad was missing so many ingredients and they apologized and said training a new employee. Again they all sound very sweet - just a poorly run biz?! Would love to know. Fortunately Yelp knows I'm a sucker for Detroit style pizza and led me to Lions, Tigers & Squares. Their ranch isn't as good at Jets but I actually pay a few bucks less for the same thing with dipping sauce but plus a topping of pepperoni! I'd say it's a new found love but also makes me sad to say goodbye to Jets.

Wow! Incredible pizza and even better service. I ordered via DoorDash and forgot to get Pepperoni on my pizza. I called Jet’s and they put the pepperoni on free of charge. Usually I have trouble changing DoorDash orders but Jet’s made it easy. Definitely recommend the corner pizza with pepperoni!
