I went to eat dim sum, but it wasn't a restaurant with special taste. It's the same taste we know. We also had ramen noodles. It's delicious

I came in as they were trying to close early. Ordered to-go food and a drink while I waited. There were a couple tables finishing up. The staff were standing over me like inches from my face, very rudely as I looked at the menu to try to hurry me along. It was very uncomfortable. After ordering and sipping my drink, they basically started shutting all the lights off and turning off the TV I was watching while I tried to finish my drink as fast as I could. I pointed out that I thought that was rude, and that I understood they were trying to leave early (earlier than their posted closing time) but I was a paying customer and had tipped well and I felt really rushed. Just super rude and they could care less. Then I get home to find my dumplings didn’t have the usual dipping sauces they give you. I won’t be back. There are a million Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood and I prefer to go where there is some respect towards a paying customer.

The worst dim sum we’ve ever had. We were served Siu Mai with RAW pork… it was not properly cooked through. The rest was awful. The pork and vegetable dumplings were like eating through a wall of flour with an odd proportion of meat. Chicken feet were overcooked and watery. Only the rice noodles were good. Would not come back

The shrimp, crab and spinach dumplings ($8.50) and the beancurd pork rolls ($9.00) were both excellent. The sautéed string beans ($11.95) was average. I personally prefer their Chinatown location (in terms of ambience and menu selection) but this one is pretty decent if you don’t want to trek down to Centre Street.

Spend the night on the location before the shooting in early morning around UWS, moseying around the neighborhood and found Jing Fong.
First, let's order Tsing Tao beer to lift up my spirit, and I've ordered Steamed seasoned pork with tofu skin wrapped in coconut milk. I usually had this one every times when I stopped by Dim Sum place. but this was the first time that I had in coconut milk.
Second, was Fried pork chop. It was good but nothing special. But brown rice wasn't hot as it should be. Likely, I didn't get the best of Jing Fong tonight, I believed.
Anyway, what disappointed me was the timing. I've order appetizer for 10 mins and still waiting, however, the pork chop even served before appetizer.
I know this is not the end of the world, but I just want to spend sometime enjoy meal, and beer for the night. Nothing's wrong. Server was very attentive, friendly.
Probably I should try their Dim Sum next time, I've heard they have a good one.

Great, fast and helpful servers. Food comes out fast and fresh. I've been to the Chinatown location a handful of times when I was younger with family but this was my first time going to the UWS location. Smaller menu of course but definitely still great quality and flavorful options. Can't wait to come back!

An experience to try a variety of Chinese cuisine dishes, curious, they carry carts with a certain dish, and you choose. Difficult because they don't speak English, you have to show it on the menu, but you can share and try many options.
Finally an interesting option. Something different and freshly prepared. For connoisseurs a great option, for non-connoisseurs, the option to try new dishes.

Heard a lot of good things about this place, but the dim sum is not super authentic. A bit Americanized.

Wow, the dim sum is so delicious... After all, dim sum is love! The food is also delicious. However, it's not an eye-popping taste, it's just plain delicious. After eating, go straight to Central to digest it.

To my fellow Chinese and those who are craving for authentic dim sum, this is NOT the Jin Feng in Chinatown, and the only thing you can get from this place is AMERICANIZED CHINESE FOOD like panda express. To be fair, the food tastes ok, but it is not what you would expect from looking at their google map photos. Those photos have nothing to do with this Jin feng.

It's the same store as Jinfong (Geumpung) in Chinatown, but unlike the Chinatown branch (cart pickup system), there are no carts and you order after looking at the menu.
The food was as delicious as expected and came out quickly.
Stir-fried bok choy is a must.
