Mealpal I kinda regret reserving from this place but I couldn't decide on something else. Also it was too late by the time I actually spent time looking thru yelp I thought I would be ok with it being next to a yoga studio but actually no. It felt weird going into an office building with security at the front. I walked in like "I'm going to the second floor". Jivamuktea Café is a lovely oasis in the middle of Union Square. The café is part of a yoga studio so the ambience is chill & grounded. THEIR FOOD & DRINKS ARE DELICIOSO! You order your vegetarian/vegan picks at the counter, then find a seat. They call you when your dish I ready, and/or they bring your drink over to you. Service was sweet and kind, and the atmosphere is cute, high ceilings and plants which I love. No AC though and it was a hot day. I liked how it's sort of hidden too. I got the tempeh BLT to go since it was boiling in there. It tasted good, nothing amazing, but for $15 I would expect more then just a small kid size sandwich.
