So I love the pizza here, drinks are good but I’m only giving them 2 stars because they charge you a 15% gratuity charge which is great, I wouldn’t mind 20% but when you get your bill the print is very small, hard to read and there’s a Tip line next to the total which is dishonest considering they’re automatically charging you a tip already. I’ve eaten here a few times before I noticed that because I rarely read through a restaurant bill, I just automatically leave a 20% , I didn’t read realize I was leaving a 35% tip. I eat there every 2 weeks and I always forget but I shouldn’t have to be tricked. Leave off the tip line and put in BOLD letter TIP INCLUDED please

Ordered a margherita pizza with pepperoni today. They forgot the pepperoni, which is fine. It happens. But the corrective action they took was to warm up a cup of pepperonis in their oven for 3 minutes and present those to me in a cup as a side along with my now soggy and luke-warm pizza. I paid my bill and left.
I’ve been going to Joe & Pat’s for the 10+ years I’ve lived in NYC. It was once my favorite thin crust pizza in the city, but I’ve watched the quality of service degrade over the years and the number of diners visiting the restaurant falling along with it. Today was the last straw. I won’t be back, and I recommend you don’t visit either.

Dariana, our waitress, was extremely rude after knocking over a bottle of water and shattering glass all over our friend, who had a piece embedded in her hand
Enrique who stood in for the manager was also extremely rude and provided a very insincere apology and criticised the fact that we did not make a scene at the time and only approached them after about the matter
Joe and Pat’s was on the top of her list and this experience soured what would’ve otherwise have been an enjoyable meal

Staff was rude though, wouldn't let me sit and eat, rushed me and my friends to eat outside. Never been treated like that before, not nice.
It's weird how some places start charging north of thirty dollars and get an ego. Just my experience, maybe the server or manager had a bad day or something.

The food is quite good but they are always closed when they claim to be open. More times than not I go in and they are either entirely closed or the hostess tells me they are closed. They are beyond infuriating to deal with.

I ordered a tri pie pizza and I received an ice cold plain pizza in absolutely horrible condition. When I called to tell them they told me I had to take it up with ubereats. They could not even send me the correct pizza or anything.
Had heard a lot about the food. Maybe my expectations were too high but thought that I've had better pizza in nyc than here.

The guy and the girl are very unpleasant and racist people. They think they are owners when they are just employees. The owners should do something like hire people who do their job well. However, the guy at the counter is an excellent person. I will never come back to this place if there are guys like that at the entrance of this place.
