Great pizza, a 10'' pozza is perfect for one, these are so good. The place is a relaxed pizza spot with a good italian menu and beers on tap, quite empty to be fair on a Sunday at 3:00pm, Totally tecommend it, a real hidden gem in 1st Ave.

Pizza look delicious, but I didn’t try it. Chicken Parmesan was OK. Lacking cheese, and the chicken warm at best. The pastas were coming out steaming so it was a little surprising. Salad was nice fresh, fried ravioli was nice. Pizza clearly the primary draw

This place is not vegan-friendly, and the service was terrible. I ordered a vegan pie with pesto after confirming with the server that the pesto was vegan. About 15 minutes later, the server came back and told me it actually wasn’t vegan, so I had to reorder.
Meanwhile, the non-vegan pizzas for the rest of my party came out quickly. Everyone else finished eating, and my pizza still hadn’t arrived. After waiting 45 minutes, we found out my order had never even been made.
Also the pizzas are very expensive
I ended up leaving hungry because I had another event to get to. Really disappointing experience overall.

Absolutely love coming here! Last Saturday stopped in for lite bites and cocktails…. Of course my bartender FAVE JOSH did not disappoint with his fabulous Lemon Drop Martini for me and he had the martini as well! Both well made! We had the meatballs (a must have) and calamari….so delicious!!

I’m really not the type to write bad reviews but here we go lol. Me and my gf found hair in the calamari.i ordered an entrée of steak,in which i never received waiting about 35 minutes while the restaurant was not busy . At the end of the day i did not receive my steak . When I asked to speak to a manager I was told he was cooking and if I’d like I can speak to him while he’s cooking .all in all it was mid at best and im never coming back . Genuinely disappointed

I came here because I heard how good the pizza was. I was expecting average service and to eat outside as I had my dog. False. I received great service they let my dog sit at the bar. The pizza was - as expected - amazing! Thanks all.

We ordered from Joe and Pats recently. We called the restaurant after our initial order was cancelled without a reason indicated. The person we spoke with apologized, told us to order again, and that he would make a note to comp the meal due to the time delay for our food. The refund never came in, so I emailed the restaurant and never heard back from them.
The staff working there were very loud talking and kidding around the chicken parm was not good. Chicken Marsala was ok

Went there to do a pizza review, there was a homeless lady who kept talking to me that didn’t want to be on camera. Met a gentleman with blood gushing out of his nose who needed to know where the plastic machine is, and ran into a WW2 vet. 10/10 would visit again

Ordered a takeout veggie pizza last week. All three of us spit out our first bites due to an overwhelming taste of dish washing soap that covered the toppings. We drove over half an hour to return the pie for a replacement. We received neither an apology nor any compensation for our time and their poor health standards in the kitchen. They actual had the audacity to claim the veggies were find. So much for customer being right (or deserving of edible food). There are a lot better choices on the island... drive past this one!

Why only four stars? The old Lanzas’ Neapolitan tile and windows are cool. The food would do them, proud. Wait staff was great The cheap cold Baccala Behind the bar does not belong in the hospitality business.

The pizza is delicious, especially the Original and the Margherita. The Original with a side of vodka sauce and pesto sauce is incredible. The chicken franchise is also amazing. Every time I’m in NYC, this place is a must-stop.
