One of the worst establishments I’ve ever been to in my life. All I ordered was a yogurt bowl and this was my first time ever and the guy at the register was so unpleasant, rude and unhelpful and they took a full 20 minutes to deliver a simple yogurt bowl! The quality was pathetic too with old banana and kiwis not cut up well. Never coming back again. Please save your time and never waste your time on this! Such horrible service.

I’ve never seen such a terrible place in my life. Especially for a business that has so many locations across New York, the level of customer service is unacceptable.

Despite having all the fruits available, they refused to make a simple custom request and kept hiding behind “policy” as an excuse. That kind of rigid and unhelpful attitude is just ridiculous.

From the staff to the overall service, everything was disappointing. It honestly feels like they don’t want to help customers at all, even with something as basic as adding extra fruit.

Very poor experience. I won’t be coming back.

First time trying Joe and the juice. Overall I’d give it a 7/10 so on a 5 star scale I feel like that’s a 3 star. I’m not from NYC so I can’t complain about the prices, but definitely be prepared. I spent 20$ on a 16oz coffee and a spicy tuna sandwich. The sandwich was really good and the coffee is good too. I will say, the coffee tasted watery at first but with time I got used to the taste. I’m also not sure if I was supposed to get sugar myself but I’d assume so, so that’s on me for why I thought it wasn’t as sweet as I thought. As for the sandwich, it’s a bit small, like even for a panini but overall it was good. I liked the way they packaged it and its minimalism design. I think it’s supposed to be branded as eco friendly that way but who knows if that is actually true. Would I pay 20$ for that coffee and sandwich anywhere else? Hell no, but when in nyc….

Ok anyway, that gives the food a 4 star with the only reservation being the portion size for the price.

But as for the other two categories, the reason I gave service a 3 star is because I’m not sure if I was supposed to explicitly tell them I’m dining in or if they always give everyone sandwiches in to go packaging but I was expecting a plate. Also again, I feel like they might’ve over done the milk on my coffee which is why it felt diluted. The staff were friendly and quick but yea just ok. Nothing crazy so 3 stars.

The atmosphere I gave 2 stars because it wasn’t good at all. Joe and the juice has a really cool branding with the colors and the choice of materials they used to make the place, but the music speaker is placed right next to the cashiers desk and it’s impossible to hear what she’s saying with the music blaring. Also, again, it’s New York so I get that space is a commodity, but the tables were arranged in a pretty awkward way. The booths r massive and then they just squished all the other tables in the remaining space. It definitely isn’t anything to brag at home about. Just a bogstandard corner cafe. For the elevated price, I feel like that part does matter, which is why I gave it two stars.

I wish I had photos but I’m writing this review a few hours after eating and I forget to take pictures.

Paid for two drinks, waited 10 minutes when the shop was quiet and never got called to collect our drinks, despite one of them sitting there on the counter. Went up to ask about the missing drink and the server acted annoyed to make the drink they had forgotten, with zero apologies offered. Drinks weren't worth the wait either.

I visited on Labor Day as a first time customer and received poor customer service from one of the two cashiers. After spending over $30, I realize I should have read the reviews before visiting this location.

Food is painfully mid. I’m so sad that I fell victim to the people who hype this place up which are all influencers. Prices are questionable, place is cute though
