During my visit, I found the service dismissive and unwelcoming. The barista’s attitude gave the impression that I was inconveniencing them, which left a negative impression. Maybe they didn’t like I asked for a ceramic mug? I don’t know.
I believe a more attentive and respectful approach would go a long way in creating a better experience for the customers. I hope this feedback will help ensure a more positive atmosphere moving forward.

Coffee is fine - but they gotta expand the seating or something around here. It's also way too expensive nowadays, but maybe I'm just old and remember when a small coffee was $2 a pop.

We are currently in a plastic waste crisis. By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Over 95% of plastics that we create do not get recycled, and instead break down into microplastics that we consume.
I appreciate that your coffee shop has real mugs available to customers. But it seems like no one in the shop knows about them. I wonder how you may be able to better communicate you’re offering a reusable mugs.
Maybe that means putting up a sign, encouraging that customers ask for them, or having your barista’s explicitly ask customers if they are dining in or working from the shop.
It is a shame to see so many Joe Coffee cups in the trashcan here. A clear indicator that people are staying to drink your coffee, but not utilizing the dishware that would make it more sustainable.

Good OK coffee. Pricey. Staff is impatient and have absolutely no clue how to respond to new customers. Hey, not everyone can see where the Milk/Sugar self-serve station is HIDDEN BEHIND the book shelf! DUH.
Good espresso and friendly staff! What more can I ask for? I've tried their iced oat lattes and they've been consistently good. I can definitely taste the high quality beans they use, it's not cheap but it's worth it sometimes :)
Haven't tried their specialty drinks, but I am interested in trying one day.

good consistent coffee served HOT. steps from Union Square when you need a beverage while people watching and catching a breath. a clean well lit space with decent amount of seating when it is rainy. and friendly efficient service. coffee shop simplicity is an understated need in NYC.

I just think they're drinks are ok, the baked goods are probably good, but everything is overpriced for what you get in my opinion. The Nutella banana bread is good, but I got a breakfast taco there and it was not that good and expensive. Maybe that's my bad for ordering that late in the day like it had been sitting around, but they shouldn't sell it if it's going to be worse later, idk.
