To ward off naysayers, espresso in a bottle is still espresso-you’re getting a drink in the middle of an lsland where costs to get things to the island might be higher-or pain in butt like ice. So yes $7 for your iced cold lattee made still with an espresso, is fine. Put things in a little perspective.
My only beef is they’re using Dona chai concentrate at this location which lacks the body and flavor than Anjali’s chai concentrate you get at the Grand Central location. “Tingly” isn’t a flavor. Dona chai uses weak tea giving it an overall weaker experience. It’s not Joes fault on that so they still get 5* but could really do with the superior product at all locations.

Came at 3:45pm. The barista had closed the shop early. Turned people away. Your closing time is 4pm, Your worker lost you 3 customers just to close 15 minutes early.

Very stale tasting cold brew and lackluster service. Frequented the store just after opening. They would rather sell high quality canned coffee (nitro brew).

Unsanitary and unprofessional staff. Two of the women working there obviously and rudely complained to each other in front of my face because I asked for a clean spoon, given someone had thrown trash in the jar where they pointed to the “clean spoons.” I guess they considered it a completely unreasonable request to ask for a spoon that hadn’t touched other peoples trash, particularly during Covid and made no effort to hide their annoyance at being asked to perform the bare minimum functions of their job. No masks were work while preparing food/drink. Mediocre ice cream as well.
