I pop in most mornings to pick up a brew, and a visit to Joe's Chelsea is part of my routine thanks to the great service and friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Jacob, Richard and the team do a great job of creating a sense of community in the store, they know regulars orders, names, and what's going on in our worlds and make time to talk while always keeping the line moving efficiently. Having a quick chat with their friendly faces in the morning is a nice way to start the day before braving the subway!

Jacob is the BEST manager at Joe coffee in chelsea! He always knows my order and makes it with a smile on his face. The coffee is delicious the atmosphere is clean and friendly. Great place to grab a quick coffee or hang and do work for a while!

The management team — Jakob and Richard — are exceptional with customer service. They set the tone for the entire shop, and the staff follow suit under their leadership. Everyone here is consistently friendly, attentive, and makes each visit genuinely enjoyable.
I do understand the New York City law about pets in food and drink establishments, but honestly, it feels like a ridiculous rule — especially for a place that serves coffee and pastries. This neighborhood has always been a dog-friendly community, and the dogs who come in are typically better behaved (and better smelling) than some adults and children who visit the shop. Removing them from the space has really taken away part of the culture and charm that made this spot special.
That said, it’s still one of the best coffee shops around — but I do have to deduct one star as a result. While I love the place, it’s definitely due for a renovation. And when you’re ready to renovate, give me a call — I’d be happy to work with you on the design.

had a lovely experience at Joe Coffee in Chelsea today. Wyatt was very kind and gave me some very insightful info about the new signature menu and left me with a great recommendation in the Miso Brown Butter Latte. Will definitely be visiting again. The other staff were very friendly too :)

Awesome cute little place. The staff are super friendly, and they have good drinks. The staff were able to accommodate some off menu requests for me. The vibes are GREAT!
Ordered ice latte with hazelnut. The espresso was bad and there wasnt any hazelnut.

The cold brew is just iced coffee and not good. The espresso drinks are better than Starbucks but if you have higher coffee standards, you’ll probably be disappointed. Otherwise environment is pleasant to hang out in and staff was friendly.
