You’re a coffee shop for Columbia students. WTH. I schlepped up here and was turned away. You shouldn’t even be showing up on Google if only students can enter.
Staff is rude and disrespectful. Terrible customer service
Students only. Please update this Google.
Very rude and racist staff at the Dumbo location. Not sure if this is the case with other store locations.
New York City's best matcha latte! Matcha can help you focus and relax at the same time.

Really wish the details on Google had relayed the space was STUDENTS ONLY before walking 15 minutes there hoping to work for the day. Blue Bottle is a few blocks further south (113th) if this happens to you too.

Never open when their hours say they are. Don’t bother showing until 9 on the weekends if you want coffee

They wouldn’t let me into the Northwest Corner Building. Oddly there was yellow Police tape on the doors. Somehow, Joes was still open. I could see people enjoying coffee up there.
Good coffee, but too pricey (although I guess it is a NYC thing)

Today I was sitting in Joe Coffee when I was accosted by a haunting sight. There he was, Joe Coffee himself, standing there in plain sight. I looked around me but no—no one else seemed to recognize the wretched figure standing taut across from us. He took a step and then another, started walking towards me with his sightless eyes somehow locked towards my own vision. I squirmed in my seat, yet couldn’t tear myself from it and evacuate my position lest I squander THE TEN BUCKS you pay for the coffee here what the hell

No iced drinks taste good, waste of your money imo. Iced mocha tastes like refried beans.

too expensive for average quality
A cafe in downtown Columbia University! I was able to enjoy the taste of fresh coffee beans and the campus.
