Had a slice of white pizza and classic cheese. Wasn't impressed with cheese but white pizza was spot on.

HYPE I used to love Joe’s but the quality has been lacking lately
Decent slice if you need one quick! Not amazing but hey it’s totally fine

Horrible 🍕 pizza
Amazing pizza stopped in got cheese and pepperoni slices and was absolutely delicious, sauce was on point, cheese great quality and the dough had that crispy taste I desire in a slice... 8.4 rating from me worthy of a stop and visit if in the area for sure

Classic NYC slice, but nothing to rave about. You can get a slice like this in many nyc pizzerias. Definitely over hyped and priced. Maybe celebrities and Spider-Man made this place famous? Credit accepted.

Reliable NY-style slices. Better than your average slice shop.

I had two slices of the veggie pizza. The place was very crowded, but it didn’t really live up to the hype. The taste was pretty normal — nothing extraordinary. I’d say it’s more of a one-time visit kind of place.

Average! Customer service was bad. Pizza was burnt and they did not care. Taste was lackluster would not go again.

A must try in NYC holds up to it's reputation. Best I had during our trip.

The pizza is fine, but definitely not worth seeking out. Had a plain slice and it was simply bland—couldn’t taste out the fruitiness or tanginess of the tomatoes nor the cheese, and the crust was not crisp, just dry. So many better slices of pizza to be had in New York! I’ve been underwhelmed the last two times I went so I don’t think it was a one-off thing, unfortunately. Remember having Joe’s’ ten years ago and it was a much better experience back then.

I went to Joe’s for the hype. It was on my way to the hotel, and the line was short, so I decided to try it.
The place looks cool, with all the photos on the walls, but that’s about it. The pizza was just okay, slightly burnt on the edges, but in the end, it’s just a slice of pizza.

Mediocre at best. They are so famous that they care little for the quality and burn your slice.
