High quality food for a quick bite, relatively quick service but definitely could back up if there’s a lot of orders.

Been coming here often when I want rice rolls. I enjoy their specialty combos with the shrimps! It can get a bit crowded but it's delicious. I tried the wontons and they were whatever. I recommend just sticking with the rice rolls only

Well made and authentic steamed rice rolls. The soft and silky texture of the rice rolls was perfect and the ratio of filling inside was excellent. They don’t skimp out on you!Shop is located in a very casual setting (like a food court) and you get your food very fast. I went back here twice during my one week stay in NYC!

Sometimes a meal just isn’t what you hoped it would be. Sometimes people talk something up and you know that you like other items that are somewhat similar so you get in your head that you’re bound to love this one.Such is the case for Joe’s Steam Rice Roll in Chinatown, NYC. I had never done the steam rice roll experience before but I love most things relating to rice noodles, especially the thicker version, so this item made too much sense for me. Double that with people telling me this spot was very good and now my mind is super excited to get in and try this out. It was also inside this cool indoor market type spot with other vendors like a milk tea place, video games, an antique-y type store, etc.Sadly this fell short of the mark. The rest of the days mini bite tour had a lot of pork involved so I went with the beef version of the noodles and I added some egg, scallion, and sesame seed. Somehow they managed to remove the flavor of all of these items. I’m not even sure how that’s possible. Every bite of this was bland.I’ve had bland noodles many times in my life, but to add these ingredients to them, even after tossing some soy sauce on to try and combat the lack of flavor, it was still very light at best.A sad result but they can’t all be winners. Joe’s Steam Rice Roll - Sucked.

Ordered for pick up was told it would be 15 minutes, I waited over an hour for 2 rice rolls. They made the wrong order and tried to give it to me and when I said that’s not right they asked if I would just take the wrong order. I said no bc I don’t eat that kind of meat and it proceeded to take over 30 minutes for the correct order. I wish i could say it was worth it but it was not even good rice rolls. Overpriced and not good, spend ur money at Toniis

The first time I ever tried steamed rice rolls was here and I stop by when I’m in the area. My fav is the shrimp party roll. The beef and pork roll are also delicious. Add soy and chili to enjoy fully! You can order from the window, the old-fashioned way or wait on the absurdly long kiosk line like apparently everyone was doing today when I arrived. I find it fascinating how our society would rather order from a screen than a human being.Make sure you ask for soy sauce and chili oil if you’re picking up bc they won’t put it in the bag otherwise.

Try it! Tasty rolls, the texture is like really thick pudding, or a wet noodle. Add fillings and it’s amazing. I’m here once a week when in the office.
good but a bit overpriced imo. and we waited over an hour, though it was Chinese new year.

Okay experience not enough noodles. The noodles were silky but paper thin. Si there was not enough ti enjoy the sauces .Sauces were mild not the best. The chili sauce was not spicy.
