I had lunch here 10 years ago and loved it. We were back in the city for 2 days and tried it for dinner. The noise level was beyond anything that I have ever experienced in a nice restaurant. The table next to us switched 3 times because of the noise. I learned we should have asked to sit upstairs. That said, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent too. They offered to comp our entrees which I declined but they did pay for our glasses of wine. We recommend this restaurant...
Great atmosphere and service. Spring pea soup was delish and rack of lamb was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The dessert of strawberries with crisp meringue was divine. Definitely returning soon!
Any time I get the opportunity to eat at a Vongerichten restaurant I'll never pass it up. JoJo is a lovely place to dine, enhanced by the Maestro's signature deft preparations and first rate service. Our server Melanie was charming, unobtrusive and professional, and added considerably to our experience. I've eaten here many times, and always look forward to returning. A first rate experience.
